Chapter 58 How Could Our Little Princess Ever Be Alone?
Thirty percent ownership was a big chunk, but Azalea could accept it.
She paused for a second, then nodded.
In return for giving up 30% of the shares, she would get full financial support from Lennox Group, and the strength that came with having the Lennox name on her side. No matter how she looked at it, the deal made sense.
Without that money, even getting started would have been tough.
“I’ll handle the finances. The money will be in your account by tomorrow.”
Once the funds were ready, her next move was to set up the club itself. That meant she still had to talk to Wylie, the current owner of GOD.
“I won’t keep you any longer,” Azalea said, obediently leaving the room and closing the door behind her.
The study grew quiet as soon as she was gone.
Hubert looked down, narrowing his eyes while flicking his lighter. The flame wavered, reflecting the turmoil inside him.
“Damn it, Hubert. You’re really crossing the line, huh?” he mumbled to himself.
Just now, what I felt toward her…
His sharp, annoyed breath slipped through his teeth again, breaking the silence. Then his phone rang.
“Talk.”
“Hey, you sound tense. Feeling unsatisfied, huh?” Douglas’s voice came through. Hearing Hubert’s bad mood made him smile a little.
“Bye.”
“Come on! Tony’s out now. Let’s get the guys together. You gotta show your face, right?”
Feeling like he needed a break, Hubert gripped his phone tighter. “Where?”
“Fantasy Lounge.”
“Got it.” Hubert hesitated, sounding a bit awkward. “Hey, about that book you mentioned before–the 360 Strategies for Raising a Daughter‘–you still have it? Send me a copy.”
Douglas blinked, surprised Hubert remembered that random comment.
He chuckled with a sparkle in his eyes. “Yeah, yeah, I got it. Sending it now.”
After hanging up, Douglas pulled up a file called “360 Strategies for Getting a Wife,” quickly changed the title, and sent it to Hubert.

Chapter 53 How Could Our Little Princess Ever Be Alone?
Back at the Larks‘ residence, Sydney paced nervously in the living room, filled with regret. What am I gonna do now? She wished she hadn’t thrown that tantrum at Cassius. Matthlas’s calls wouldn’t go through, her parents were out of town, and Cassius wouldn’t help.
She opened her phone but was met with hateful messages.
Someone had even spread rumors that she stole Azalea’s spot to get into Jubilee.
Sydney felt like she was losing her mind. She’d always been praised and loved growing up, never chased down and cursed like this before.
“What’s going on with you, my princess?” Skyler appeared suddenly, leaning casually on the stair railing. His handsome face, admired by thousands of fans, held a faint smile as he looked at her.
Sydney shivered. She avoided Skyler whenever she
most.
ould; he was the one person in the house she feared
Around him, she felt completely exposed, like he could see right through her. No matter what she did, Skyler always looked at her with that amused, approving gaze, as if silently cheering her.on, even encouraging her trouble sometimes.
“Skyler, I’m in trouble. Can you help me?” Biting her lip, Sydney forced herself to look up and speak, trying to seem vulnerable to earn his sympathy. Her eyes were red as she tilted her head up at him.
He was her last hope. After all, he was familiar with the ins and outs of the online world, and if he’d be willing to lend a hand, she’d be able to get rid of the issue regarding the gunman.
Skyler chuckled softly, walking down the stairs. He gently brushed her hair back behind her ear with smooth ease. “Of course, I’ll help. You’re my favorite sister, after all.”
Sydney’s whole body trembled with relief. At least he’s willing to help.
“But… “Skyler’s tone changed suddenly, and his expression grew serious. “You know I’m in the public eye. Some things are tricky for me to get involved in. But don’t worry. I’ll figure out a way to help.”
Figure out a way?
Sydney blinked, unsure what he meant.
The charming, refined smile on his face deepened with dark amusement as he spoke low and teasingly, “Azalea’s tough to mess with right now. But the people around her? Not so much. If we expose something bad about someone close to her and tweak the story a little, people will start doubting her character. Birds of a feather flock together, you know?”
Skyler’s words made Sydney picture several people close to Azalea who were easier to target.
Her eyes flicked nervously up to him. “But Skyler, I can’t do this alone-
He pressed a finger softly to her lips, grinning in a way that would make all his fans swoon. “How could our little princess ever be alone? Even if I can’t help directly, I’ve already told Mom what’s going on. She should be back any day now.”
Just then, Ivy hurried through the door. Without hesitation, she pulled Sydney into a tight hug. “My poor girl, why didn’t you tell me all this? If it weren’t for Skyler, I wouldn’t have known you were being treated
