Ivy hadn’t expected Azalea to be so defiant. After all, she’d been expelled, and now public opinion was leaning toward Sydney. Shouldn’t Azalea be crying and begging for forgiveness by now?
“Mom, what did she say?” Sydney, who stood aside, grew more uneasy the longer Ivy stayed quiet. It felt like she was standing in flames.
She had already been kicked out by Jubilee and hadn’t returned to school yet. She needed everyone focused on Azalea, or she’d be the one people laughed at.
It couldn’t happen.
The resentment in Sydney’s eyes was hard to miss. She blamed Azalea for competing with her. Even after leaving the Larks‘ residence, Azalea still refused to back down. Her pitiful act had even won over her brothers.
Sydney’s lips curled into a faint smile. Still, things were under control for now. Once she convinced her brothers that Azalea was just pretending, everything would return to normal.
In time, no one would remember she used a ghostwriter. They’d only accuse Azalea of trying to ruin her
name.
Sydney pressed Ivy for answers, hoping to hear that Azalea had given up. Ivy, however, believed her daughter was just concerned about Azalea’s situation.
Her expression softened, but her voice became even sharper. “Fine! Keep pretending to be strong. I’d love to see how long that lasts. Even if you come begging me, I won’t let you set foot in this house again!”
Azalea took the phone away from her ear and rubbed it gently. “Mrs. Lark, just a little advice–getting angry too often makes you age quicker. Don’t stress. Just make sure you’re not the one begging me to return someday.”
The call ended with a beep. Ivy’s face twisted in rage as she smashed her phone into pieces.
That ungrateful brat! Me? begging her to come back? Is she dreaming?
“Mom! Weren’t we supposed to get Azalea back?” Sydney’s voice rose. She felt Azalea slipping out of reach. Unless she was controlled, Sydney couldn’t relax. Why had Ivy ruined everything again?
Still fuming, Ivy didn’t catch her daughter’s unusual reaction. “Sydney, her future isn’t our concern anymore. I know you have a kind heart, but people like her don’t deserve it.”
Looking at her mother’s bitter expression, Sydney said nothing.
This time, the Larks were détermined to destroy Azalea completely. Skyler’s intervention wasn’t enough. They even paid for trending topics and hired commenters to spread lies.
The internet was full of slander/against Azalea.
Riley, who had been watching the news closely, felt heavy guilt. None of that would’ve happened if it weren’t for her.

Even Wylie, who was usually calm, was losing patience. If Azalea didn’t respond soon, it might be too lat People were already assuming she was hiding in shame.
Meanwhile, Azalea had just chosen a new apartment. Her phone buzzed constantly with messages, including some from her teammates offering help.
As she glanced at the trending topics that were entirely dominated by her name, she sipped her hot tea thoughtfully. It was about time.
If the authorities didn’t act, she’d force their hand. Once their interests were involved, they couldn’t stay neutral.
She sent Riley a quick message, “It’s time.”
Then, Azalea created an official account for her club, completed verification, and started typing her first
post.
She didn’t bother clearing her name. Instead, she shared photos of the purchased league spot and the lease for the base in Kingsway Industrial Complex.
The post was simple and direct.
“I’m Azalea Yarrow, one of the owners of the GOD Club. I’m currently managing our official page.”
That one message shook the entire scene.
Within minutes, the post exploded with shares and comments.
The Larks had already stirred public opinion. With someone as famous as Skyler involved, the post instantly attracted attention from different circles.
Some people were guessing if it was a feud between rich families, a drama in the esports scene, or something else.
Most viewers stayed quiet, happy just to watch the chaos from the sidelines.
“Wait, what’s happening? Would the league accept someone accused of cheating in the finals?”
“This is getting more confusing. I thought Azalea was lying low because she was guilty, but now she’s made a bold move.”
“She’s just a joke. And where did she even get the money for all this?”
Doubtful comments filled the thread.
Azalea replied to the most–liked one, writing, “It’s not my money. It came from the Lennox Group.” Someone asked, “Is this a new club? Are you hiring? I majored in media. Can I apply for an operator role?”
She answered directly under that comment, “We’ll share job and youth training info soon. Feel free to send in your resume.”
She even tapped like on a few comments that stood out.

Once everything was posted. Azalea shin her phone off and got ready to return to Ashburne Vills, not the least bit worried about the storm she had just stirred up.
