Freedom 306

After greeting Professor Liam and the others, Maggie and Jonny were ready for the panel discussion to officially begin

Maggie and Johnny were seated in the first row, near the center. Julia, on the other hand, sat in the second row

As role models for the new generation, both Maggie and Johnny were invited to the stage to share some of their methods and experiences related to learning and conducting research, to provide guidance to the students in the audience

Once their speeches were over, the panel shifted to the discussion and exchange segment. At that point, many of the prominent experts in attendance eagerly approached Maggie and Johnny to engage in conversation

These experts were wellknown figures in the domestic academic community, each with their own areas of research

Whether it was convolutional neural networks, embodied intelligence, multimodal interactions, or other cuttingedge topics, Maggie handled each discussion with ease. She offered her insights on issues that had been troubling the experts, such as modal deficiencies and computational efficiency. Her suggestions left those who approached her for advice increasingly impressed, eager to continue the conversation

The room was filled with numerous prominent experts, each with deep expertise in their fields. They only needed to

engage in conversation with Maggie for a short while to gauge her true abilities

Some scholars who hadn’t yet had a chance to speak with her joked

Alright, you’ve been asking questions for a whileit’s my turn now, right?”

Yeah, let’s each have a moment to chat. Why are you hogging her all this time?”

Come on, I just need to ask one more question, and then I’ll be done-”

You don’t need to think too hard. We all know the question you’re going to ask. It’s definitely about how to improve scalability issues in applications. If you start down that path, we’ll be here forever. Who knows when you’ll wrap

up?”

Meanwhile, Julia was also engaged in a conversation

She stood not far behind Maggie

Julia, called Janice, who had come with her. Mr. Taylor is asking for you.”

Julia had been keeping an eye on what was happening with Maggie behind her. She was almost entirely focused on that side, so much so that she hadn’t fully registered when someone spoke to her

Chapter 306

When she heard Janice’s voice, she snapped back to attention, smiling and saying, Sorry, Mr. Taylor. I got a bit absorbed in listening to offers-”

Julia, like many others, was in the Al field, so it was completely normal for her to be interested in the discussions of other experts

Janice smiled and reassured her, No problem.”

Once she was back to the conversation, Julia engaged actively with Mr. Taylor.

Janice, who knew her well, noticed that Julia’s expression has shifted subtly about half an hour ago

It seemed to be related to what was happening with Maggie

Janice had overheard the discussions and knew how the experts were all eager to speak with Maggie

The way they all fawned over her made Janice wonder-

After Mr. Taylor left, Janice glanced over at Maggie’s direction and found an opportunity to ask Julia

What’s going on?”

Julia shifted her gaze and replied

I now understand why Professor Mark and Professor Liam spoke so highly of Maggie. She really does seem to have quite a bit of ability.”

Several of the experts who had approached Maggie for advice were people Julia knew personally, and she was aware of their backgrounds and accomplishments

Given their extensive research in their respective fields, they were certainly no pushovers. Yet, despite their expertise, they eagerly engaged with Maggie and treated her suggestions as invaluable

It was clear that Maggie’s abilities were no joke

Julia had been paying attention to her conversations with the experts, and she realized that Maggie’s knowledge base was incredibly broadso much so that there were many things Julia couldn’t even fully comprehend

No wonder Professor Mark had once called her an allaround AI talent..

If Maggie had been relying on Johnny and Nolan’s guidance when discussing breakthroughs with Professor Liam and others earlier, that might have seemed understandable

But now

Now, Maggie’s conversations with the professors were deep and wideranging

Chapter 306

As someone in the Al field herself, Julia knew that if Maggie were simply echoing the ideas of others, she would not have been able to reach such a level

Janice paused, seeing how the experts in the industry were flocking to Maggie. It was clear that she truly had remarkable abilities

However…

She said softly, She’s been around Johnny for so long, and she often meets with Nolan. With two of the country’s top Al experts mentoring her, it’s only natural she would have such a wide knowledge base and ability. Don’t forget, that’s why she went out of her way to prevent you from getting close to Johnny in the first place.”

Besides, I’m sure if it were you who was close to Johnny and Nolan, you’d do even better than her!”
