Glen was busy looking at his phone. His friend leaned over to take a look.
Seeing what was on the screen, his friend groaned, “Come on, it’s the weekend now. The salary Cole pays you shouldn’t require you to work on Saturdays and Sundays, right? I thought you were wracking your brain trying to ask that Miss Miller out.”
Glen was improving himself; it had nothing to do with Cole.
He said nothing in response to his friend’s words.
Before he knew Maggie hadn’t divorced yet, he basically spent almost every week trying hard to ask her out.
But Maggie said she hadn’t officially divorced.
Although from what she said, it seemed she and her husband had reached the divorce stage, the divorce was not yet finalized…

Glen glanced at her with a neutral tone:
“Is there something you need?”
Since Glen joined Cole, they had rarely met privately.

“Your sister contacted me a few days ago again, saying they still hope you’ll go back home to help, but no matter what, you just won’t listen…”
She sat down and continued,
“Glen, you’ve been out for several months now. Staying at Cole like this isn’t really a solution. Maybe you should-”
Hearing this, Glen paused. He didn’t quite understand why someone who also liked AI as much as she did, after realizing how impressive Cole was, would still advise him to return and inherit the family business.
But he didn’t want to argue with her, interrupting,
“This is between me and my family. I can handle it myself.”
Julia looked a bit displeased, but since Glen said this, she didn’t press further and just said,
“I can understand why you don’t want to leave Cole. After all, I’ve always wanted to get in there myself… It’s just that
I heard your father hasn’t been in good health lately…”

“Good.”

“Miss Brown, you came alone? Where’s Mr. Wilson?”
“With my family,” Julia took the tea he handed her and replied,
“As for Franklin, he’s gone on a business trip abroad, won’t be back for a few days.”

Julia nodded and smiled,

Seeing Jimmy behind him, she greeted warmly,

Julia noticed and introduced,
“This is Glen. Glen, this is-”
But at that moment, Jimmy and Glen were looking at each other with unreadable expressions.
Before Julia could finish introducing, they both interrupted her simultaneously,
“We know each other.”
Not only Julia, but even Rex was surprised.
In their impression, these two shouldn’t have met before.
