Once they disembarked, Margot took her daughter’s hand and asked, “Kaylee, how about we first go to the harbor to check out the gift your father got for you? Later, we can head back home together, is that alright?”
Kaylee paused for a moment before smiling and replying, “Sure, I’ll go with whatever you have planned.”
As she took in the unfamiliar surroundings, she couldn’t help but feel excited about the new life that was about to begin.
However, as they passed a trash can, Kaylee quietly pulled out her phone and threw it
inside.
The past, all the memories, they had to be discarded.
Margot noticed her action and exchanged a confused glance with Robert, asking, “Why are you throwing away a perfectly good phone? Did it break?”
Since finding their long–lost daughter, the couple had been constantly keeping an eye on
her.
Any little change would make them nervous.
Kaylee’s smile faded slightly as she explained, “I’m just thinking of starting fresh. Old things need to be thrown away, right?”
Margot was momentarily stunned, then patted her hand, “Alright, I’ll buy you the latest model. The old one doesn’t match your current status anyway.”
Kaylee nodded. The old things no longer suited her, especially not Vincent. He no longer

deserved the version of her who had once given him her heart.
The three of them made their way to the harbor.
Standing on the massive yacht, Robert gazed out at the vast sea and spoke.
“Kaylee, this is a little gift I specifically got for you. Take a look and see if you like it.”
For a brief moment, Kaylee was stunned.
She looked at the multi story yacht and muttered to herself, “Is this really for me?
She had seen this yacht online before; its price exceeded over a billion.
It was equipped with all kinds of facilities and entertainment options, catering to every need–food, clothes, living, recreation, and luxury..
And now, it was hers?
She knew her biological parents were wealthy, but she hadn’t expected them to be this
wealthy.
Seeing her daughter’s astonishment, Margot’s eyes reddened.
“The past ten years have been hard on you. From now on, we’ll make it up to you. Just accept whatever your father gives you. We’re a family now.”
Robert chimed in, agreeing, “Yes. From now on, this yacht is yours. Tonight, we’ll host a welcome party here. I’ll announce your identity to the prominent figures and media in
Italy.”
“From now on, you’ll be the young lady of the Anderson family.”
Kaylee looked at the luxurious yacht and couldn’t help but ask, “Isn’t this a bit too extravagant?”
Margot walked up to her, took her hand, and said, “You deserve it. You’ve been through so much all these years. From now on, you just need to be the princess everyone admires.”
“We, the Andersons, are born to be princesses. It was
