Finally We Got Lost

Chapter 3
“Mr. Turner, you’re spending the weekend with your little secretary too?”
“Well, it’s just that I brought Lillian along to gain some experience, Ms. Clark. Let’s talk
business.”
Where’s no rush, Mr. Turner. It’s not often we get to have a meal together, so let’s eat first.”
As soon as I finished speaking, Lillian, standing beside him, seemed to get anxious.
“Ms. Clark, we’re here to discuss business, not to socialize.”
“This is…?”
“My name is Lillian Evans.”
“Miss Evans, I believe it’s not your place to interrupt our conversation as a secretary.”
“What do you mean by that?!”
Thomas, knowing his secretary’s temperament, stepped forward to stop her.
“Sorry, Ms. Clark, Lillian is a bit inexperienced. How about this? I’ll cover the bill today, and we can have our meal first.”
I nodded in agreement and ordered a few dishes. While waiting, I kept an eye on the two of them across the table. They were both glued to their phones, and I noticed Thomas said something that seemed to lighten Lillian’s mood.
“Miss Evans, could you get us two cups of coffee? I’m a bit thirsty.”
“You…?”
Thomas gave her a look, and she had no choice but to swallow the words that were about to
come out of her mouth.
“Thanks.”

Chapter 3
Lillian reluctantly grabbed her bag and left to get the coffee. Once she was gone, I turned to
Thomas.
“Actually, it’s rare to find someone as young and successful as you, Mr. Turner. Your wife is
lucky.”
I took out my lipstick and touched it up in the mirror, but Thomas’s gaze never left me.
“Do I look good?”
After applying the lipstick, I gave him a smile. The effect was immediate, as Thomas seemed momentarily stunned.
“Y–yes… you look good. Actually, I don’t have a girlfriend, Ms. Clark. You’re just joking.”
Upon hearing this, my internal monologue was filled with curses. No girlfriend? Then is the woman at home just your maid?
Oh? No girlfriend? Does that mean you’re dating your little secretary?”
Without thinking, Thomas blurted out, “Of course not. Lillian is my secretary. I take extra care of her at work, but I didn’t expect Ms. Clark to misunderstand.”
“So that’s how it is… so does that mean I still have a chance?”
I said this with a smile as I locked eyes with him. I knew that according to my investigation, Thomas preferred mature, dominant women.
My current appearance fit exactly into his type, and as I looked at him, I saw his face flush. He quickly turned his head away, embarrassed.
“Ms. Clark, don’t joke with me…”
I didn’t respond, keeping my smile on the outside, but on the inside, I was cursing him from
top to bottom.
When the waiter brought the dishes, I took the wine glass and walked over to Thomas.
“I’d like to propose a toast to Mr. Turner.”

Finally, We Got Lost
Chapter 3
I deliberately spilled the wine on his white shirt. Thomas, at a loss for a moment, didn’t know where to put his hands. I grabbed a few napkins to help him clean it off.
“Sorry, Mr. Turner. I wasn’t careful. Let me clean that up for you.”
As I bent down to wipe it, my freshly applied lipstick brushed against his cheek. He quickly turned his head away as he felt the softness of my lips on his face.
“N–no, it’s fine. I’ll do it myself.”
Seeing that my objective had been achieved, I stood up, gracefully.
“Mr. Turner, I’m so sorry…”
Just as my hand was about to touch his face, Lillian barged in, carrying two cups of coffee. Upon seeing the red mark on Thomas’s face and the wet shirt, she immediately exploded like a firecracker. She threw the coffee in her hands, and the noise attracted the attention of
everyone around us.
“Ms. Clark, we came to talk business, not for you to seduce him. Please watch your
behavior.”
I gave a small smirk and adopted an innocent expression.
“Miss Evans, I was just giving Mr. Turner a toast, and it was an accident that I spilled the wine on him. How did it become seduction in your mouth? Mr. Turner, how much is your shirt? I’ll pay for it, and as for this deal, I think we should put it on hold for now.”
“Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to. You’re just…”
“Enough, Lillian! You spilled the coffee I asked you to bring. Go get us more. Ms. Clark and I were just talking business, so don’t misunderstand. Also, know your place. You’re just a
secretary.”
