Chapter 4
Six years of marriage, and Ethan had been enjoying spending my money freely.
Little did he know that the five–star hotel he checked into with Claire was also one of my
properties.
sisoon as they checked in, the front desk staff sent me their room number.
They also mentioned that this medical conference was drawing many participants, including renowned experts from prestigious hospitals nationwide.
I instructed them to install a hidden camera in the room while Claire took her daughter out
for a stroll.
After all, such a “noble act” of helping someone else’s daughter deserved to be publicly acknowledged.
That evening, Ethan sent me a series of messages, putting on his usual act.
“Darling, great news! Our daughter has hope! I heard there’s an expert at this conference who specializes in her condition. I’ll make sure to ask him over dinner later!”
“I might drink a little tonight, so I might not reply to your messages right away.”
Using my daughter as an excuse to cheat–how disgusting.
I smirked coldly, refusing to reply, and pressed down hard on the gas pedal, speeding down the night road.
Hearing the noise, he grew suspicious and asked,
“Darling, are you not at home? What’s that sound? Where are you this late?”
Not wanting to alert him, I chuckled lightly and said,
“Just heading to the office to grab some files. What else would I be doing? Cheating on you? Look how scared you are.”

He awkwardly laughed it off, not daring to press further.
The sound of water from the shower stopped in the background, and he hurriedly ended
the call.
By the time I arrived, it was past midnight.
I quickly checked in and waited in my room for his conference to end.
surveillance feed from Claire’s room was connected to my phone.
Within five minutes of the conference ending, Ethan rushed into the room.
He threw his suit jacket onto the floor, stripping as he walked.
I instructed the hotel staff to project the feed onto the conference hall’s screen and simultaneously started a live stream online.
Ethan wanted fame? I’d make sure he was infamous.
In the grand conference hall, the sound of heavy breathing from a man filled the air.
The screen displayed two pale bodies entangled together.
The doctors who hadn’t yet left all looked up in shock.
Gasps and screams erupted in waves.
In the midst of their passion, Ethan pulled out that disgusting bottle of liquid again.
Claire stopped him, blushing shyly.
“Dr. Yates, about Hannie’s surgery…”
“We’ll do it as soon as we’re back! Be good. If you perform well tonight, the surgery can happen tomorrow…”
Someone in the live stream chat recognized their faces, and the comment section exploded with curses.

“Damn it! No wonder my son can’t get a surgery slot. Turns out, it’s because I’m a man and
can’t sell my body!”
“What kind of scum gets into hospitals these days? Are surgeries arranged based on how
wide someone can spread their legs?”
“Drop the hotel address! My daughter hasn’t even been able to see a doctor. I’m visiting
them right now!”
eing that comment, I generously enabled the hotel’s location feature and pinned the room number.
Local patients‘ family members arrived within three minutes.
Armed with paint cans and baseball bats, they stormed into the elevator in a fury.
On the screen, the pair was now cuddling post–affair.
In less than three minutes, the internet was mocking them mercilessly.
At that moment, a message came from my friend at the prison.
“Ms. Stewart, your man has arrived.”
Séconds later, a furious roar echoed through the hotel lobby:
“Where’s that bitch Claire?! Dare to cheat on me? I’ll break her legs!”
Claire’s husband, Jack Lin, had arrived.
I escorted him to the room’s door and knocked politely.
From inside came Ethan’s irritated voice, annoyed at the interruption:
“Who is it? Go away!”
“It’s your daddy!”
The door was violently kicked open.
