They’re safely stored with someone I trust completely. Someone who has very specific instructions about what to do if Clairemont buys that dress without me being there.”

“I don’t give a damn about your headache!” Clairemont’s shout was even louder this time before she whirled around and marched out, her heels clicking aggressively against the hardwood floor.
