“So, it wasn’t just Stella who bullied my cousin, was it?”
“This small matter doesn’t need to trouble my aunt and uncle. When you get home, tell your parents
that the King family in the capital will settle this score with them.”
“Not a single one of you will escape.”
The color drained from everyone’s faces.

Landon Banks stood frozen, staring at me in shock. I helped close his gaping mouth and smiled.
“Surprised? Believe me now when I say your girlfriend has so much money it’s a problem?”
Landon nodded stiffly. Though he was just an ordinary man, he understood the kind of power the
Forbs and King families wielded.
“Aren’t you going to ask me why I never told you?” I teased, curious.
Landon shook his head and gently held my hand.
“You must have had your reasons for keeping it from me.”
“Besides, I’ve said it before–it doesn’t matter who you are or how much money you have. I’m just glad Stella was lying and that you never had to suffer. That’s enough for me.”

But not everyone was celebrating.
The Tanners and the principal stumbled over, trembling, and, along with Stella, dropped to their knees before my family with a thud.

I nodded. The Kings certainly had that kind of power.
“Principal, you really know how to separate personal and professional matters, don’t you?” I said coldly.
The principal, his bald head glistening with sweat, stammered as he tried to respond:
“Caroline, you see… this… this was all a misunderstanding… I always knew you were an outstanding student, both in character and academics. You’d never do such a thing,” the principal stammered.
I interrupted him, chuckling.
“That’s not what you said earlier, though. If I remember correctly, this school was built with funding from my grandfather. The Forbs family is its largest shareholder. My grandfather’s intention wasto contribute to the country, providing students with a comfortable and fair learning environment.”
“But as the principal, not only did you fail to uphold justice for your students, but you also fawned over the powerful and twisted the truth. So, you’re fired.”
I appointed the counselor as the new principal. He walked out in a daze, struggling to believe it was real.
The Tanner couple pleaded endlessly.

Stella, with her swollen, pig–like face, bawled her eyes out. Tears, blood, and mucus mixed together, making her look even more pitiful.
“I’m sorry, Caroline. I really didn’t know you were the Forbs heiress. I thought you were just playing
around with me.”
“I was wrong. I know I was wrong. I shouldn’t have stolen your boyfriend. I’ll give Landon back to you. I’ll even kneel and apologize. Please just treat me like a fart and let me go.”
She knelt and banged her head against the floor repeatedly, the sound echoing through the room.
I didn’t say a word. I picked up the baseball bat from the floor and swung it at Stella’s shin.
“Ahhh!!”
Her scream was piercing, but I didn’t stop. I landed another blow on her head, and blood gushed out immediately.
Finally, I stomped on her hand with all my strength.
“This is for Landon, and for myself.”
“As for your clothes, I’m not interested in stripping you–I find it disgusting.”
