Ariel hadn’t spent too long preparing for her exams this title. However, she had ensured that she had revised and reviewed all the relevant books and reading materials.
Overall, she didn’t find the process too tedious.
Ariel and Nancy were in the same hall since they applied for the same major.
30 minutes before the time was up, Ariel got up, submitted her answers, and exited the hall.
Nancy noticed Ariel leaving the hall earlier. She cast a glance in Ariel’s direction and shook her head, looking as if she had expected it all along.
Their first exam was an exam in aerospace engineering. Ye Ariel submitted her answers when there was still so much time left. It was obviously because she had finished answering all the questions she knew the answers to.
There was no need for Ariel to waste too much of her time here anyway. She shouldn’t have even come to the exam today. Yet, Ariel insisted on putting up a front.
Nancy simply could not understand how the minds of those like Ariel work.
What was the point of them acting like they were smarter and more capable than they actually were?
Nancy curled her lips. She could pretty much foresee the outcome when the exam results were announced later on.
By the time Ariel was done with her exams, Janice was already waiting for her by the entrance.
Janice grinned widely when she saw Ariel walking out of the hall, looking calm and collected. “Let’s go! It’s my treat today!”
Ariel paid no mind to how Nancy was doing. She looked relaxed as she joined Janice and Chad for a meal.
In the following days, she took the exams for the other subjects. Her interview went pretty smoothly as well. What was left was to wait for the announcement of their exam results.
It would take around one to two weeks before they could get the results.
Ariel was not too anxious or nervous about it. She was really grateful that she had not suffered from any serious health problems during that period, and she was able to finish taking all her exams.
She was in charge of developing the main system for the disaster–response project. Since it would be a time- consuming process, Chad would take over in overseeing the other projects.
During her free time, Ariel started working on preparing for the renewable energy project.
However, Chad brought back some news after having gone out to meet a client today.
“Veyo Solutions is also looking into the renewable energy sector. They met and spoke to Alan as well. If the speculations are true, they are more or less thinking of doing a similar project like ours.”
Chad tapped on the desk with a folder that he was holding. Jayson has a lot of connections and resources. He’ll definitely help pave the way for Veyo Solutions.”
With Jayson as their backing, the Veyo Solutions team wouldn’t have to worry about things like having no connections. Naturally, they would face fewer obstacles in executing their project.
Ariel nodded pensively.

Veyo Solutions had hired a lot of capable, talented people. Jayson had used his influence and resources to help them recruit brilliant engineers from within and outside the country. Naturally, they would be able to come up with solid and innovative ideas and projects.
They had been hearing rumors for a few days that many people had visited Veyo Solutions‘ office to meet and talk to their team.
“Let’s see which one of us will emerge as the winner in this race, then.” Ariel closed the folder containing her sketches. She had a calm look in those clear eyes.
Chad gazed at her for a moment. Then, he chuckled. “You’re still the Ariel I know. Deep down, you still have the spirit of a fighter. You’ve never been someone who’s easily intimidated.”
Even Chad was becoming increasingly excited. He could not wait to see how shocking and astonishing Ariel’s next creation would be.
At 2:00 pm, Chad received a rather unexpected phone call. He informed Ariel about it. “You need to come with me to meet a client later.”
Ariel asked curiously, “Who is it?”
Chad checked the time. “Samson Pryce. He called and expressed interest in collaborating with us on our renewable energy project. He would like to meet and discuss some details first.”
Ariel hardly knew anything about the man. She had only met him twice so far. Despite looking relatively young, Ariel found that Samson’s behavior was remarkably mature. There was nothing about him that was particularly annoying or off–putting.
When Ariel followed Chad to the conference room, Samson was already waiting there.
He sat there with a relaxed posture. With his long legs and good proportions, others might mistake Samson for an attractive model at first glance. He radiated a quiet yet undeniable energy.
Samson got up and shook hands with Chad.
His gaze fell on Ariel’s face. “Ms. Walker, we met again.”
Ariel gave a slight nod. “Mr. Pryce, please take a seat and make yourself comfortable.”
The corners of Samson’s mouth twitched slightly. He found the way Ariel had addressed him rather amusing. It sounded very formal. Samson let out a soft chuckle.
Chad had found out a bit about Samson’s background while they were on the phone. He was quite surprised.
Samson was actually a representative of Yeager Group, a large enterprise that specialized in producing military tech in their country. He came back from abroad and joined Yeager Group’s management team after being recruited by them.
“Mr. Pryce, what made you consider the possibility of starting a collaboration with us?” Chad sounded quite puzzled and bewildered.
He was well aware of Yeager Group’s standing in the country.
Samson did not tell them right away the purpose of his visit. He simply said in a calm voice, “I came here today on behalf of Yeager Group’s Ms. Ulmer.”
Chad had heard of Kristen Ulmer. She was a well–known, prominent figure in the industry.
“As for myself, I had learned quite a bit about Faye Tech even back when I was still abroad. I really liked some of

the products that you developed, Mr. Hockney. I even chose them as the subject for some of the research papers I wrote.”
Samson sounded extremely sincere.
Ariel stared at him and asked straightforwardly, “I’m sure you’ve also heard the recent rumors about Veyo Solutions‘ plans, Mr. Pryce. Most people think that they possess more resources than we do. Are you also interested in collaborating with them?“.
She did not shy away from raising the matter. After all, even Lucas and the Sanderson family had chosen to side with Veyo Solutions since they would be able to gain more profit from it.
Samson fixed his gaze on Ariel. “I’m only interested in collaborating with the Faye Tech team.”
Ariel was honestly quite surprised. “Can you tell us your reasons?”
Samson took in the curious expression on Ariel’s face. He curled his lips and answered nonchalantly, “For me, I trust my gut feeling and intuition more.”
Ariel was struck speechless. At the same time, she was feeling dubious.
They should be discussing a potential collaboration. Yet, it suddenly sounded like a conversation one would have on a blind date.
Even Chad was momentarily dazed. It made him wonder if all young people were so free–spirited and unpredictable these days.
“Did you also major in aerospace engineering, Mr. Pryce?” Ariel asked.
Samson’s eyes twinkled. He looked bright and cheerful but not too impatient. “Let me introduce myself. I graduated from Glenbridge University. I majored in aerospace engineering and financial management. I’ve just completed my PhD studies in aerospace engineering.”
Ariel was truly surprised by what she just heard.
They had a rare, gifted person sitting in front of them. Yet, he did not seem smug or snobbish in the slightest.
“I hope you won’t hold back if you have any questions for our side. For now, we can share and learn more about each other’s companies‘ plans and visions first.
“As for the opportunity to collaborate on a project, we can discuss it and see if it’s feasible. I’m simply trying to convey our willingness to collaborate on behalf of Yeager Group and myself today.”
Samson did not wish for the Faye Technologies team to feel pressured because of the forces and backing behind Yeager Group.
Ariel nodded slowly.
“Also, there’s one very important thing.” Samson lifted his brows. A slightly different light shone in his eyes.
“Rumor has it that someone from Faye Tech developed the U.N2. They used to say Mr. Hockney was the developer. One of the major reasons why I chose to work in this industry was because of the U.N2 developer. That person is my idol.”
Chad just took a sip of water, and he almost choked on it.
He subconsciously glanced at Ariel, who remained calm and appeared as though the person that Samson was talking about wasn’t her.
