Garrett glanced at Jayson. He grew a bit curious about Ariel after seeing the way Jayson had introduced her. “I’ve heard quite a bit about you lately, Ms. Walker. You’re truly an amazing young lady.”
Bernard chimed in, “Ms. Walker is the chief engineer who’s developed Faye Tech’s new flight control system. She’s also gained Mr. Larkin’s trust. Naturally, we’re looking forward to the surprises we’ll be getting from our partnership with Nexura Solutions, which is currently under her leadership.”
Jayson remained silent, letting Ariel lead the conversation.
Ariel spoke about her latest plans in earnest.
Nexura Solutions had already established a sound, efficient system. While Ariel shared some details about her plans, Jayson would occasionally add information relating to Nexura Solutions.
Bernard, Garrett, and the other senior executives had looks of approval on their faces.
As Nancy approached the group, she spotted Ariel and Jayson standing side by side. Unperturbed, Nancy ignored Ariel and continued walking toward them.
“Jayson.” She stopped right beside him, her arm brushing the sleeve of his suit.
Jayson dropped his gaze and looked at Nancy.
Garrett and Bernard instantly realized who Nancy was.
For a moment, Garrett completely forgot about Nancy and thought that Jayson and Ariel were quite a compatible pair. Now that Nancy was here, Garrett subconsciously looked at Ariel and asked, “Do you have a boyfriend, Ms. Walker?”
Samson happened to hear that when he got there. He halted and stared at Ariel with those dark eyes.
Jayson turned his eyes to her as well.
Ariel had no trouble answering these questions naturally. She shook her head. “No.”
Samson curled his lips when he heard that. He went up to them. “Excuse me, I’m afraid I’ll have to interrupt for a bit. Do you mind letting me make an appointment with Ms. Walker?”
Samson was quite outgoing. He gave off a bright, youthful vibe whenever he spoke. He also looked extremely charming whenever he smiled.
The senior executives, old enough to be Samson’s father, chuckled. “Sure, go ahead.”
Samson directed his gaze to Ariel. He didn’t address her as Ms. Walker this time. “Ariel, when will you be free? I promised to show you the Yeager Group’s exhibition zone. Let’s pick a time for us to visit the place together.”
Nancy was surprised to see how friendly Samson was to Ariel. A small frown creased her forehead.
Ariel gave it some thought. “I can’t give you a specific time yet. If it’s alright with you, do you mind if I tell you once I’ve sorted out my schedule?”
Samson didn’t mind waiting. He beamed. “Sure. You can contact me anytime. I’m alright with meeting anytime.”
Samson wasn’t even trying to hide his feelings or intentions. The senior executives had knowing looks on their faces.

Samson was very courteous and polite. After he was done speaking to Ariel, Samson looked at Jayson and the others. “Please go ahead and continue with your conversation. Let me know if you have any questions for me.”
Anyone could see he was in a cheery mood.
Jayson simply nodded without saying anything.
After her talks with the senior executives, Ariel soon got confirmation that their companies would maintain their partnership with Nexura Solutions.
Without saying a word to Jayson, Ariel turned and walked off. She roughly told Chad what happened and excused herself for the restroom.
As she did, she happened to notice Jayson by the window, smoking. He was staring down at the rising smoke from his cigarette, seemingly lost in thought.
Ariel simply averted her gaze and went into the restroom to wash her hands.
When she came out, Jayson was still there, but he had stubbed out his cigarette. The cigarette smoke had also dissipated and vanished.
Jayson gazed at Ariel. Just as she was about to walk away, he said, “You’ve been getting a lot of attention lately. You should be more wary of the people and incidents happening around you.”
Ariel halted and glanced over her shoulder at him.
Jayson met Ariel’s gaze and said nonchalantly, “Samson Pryce.”
