Chapter 415
After signing the contracts, Ariel and Janice went back to Faye Technologies‘ office.
Chad had also heard the news regarding Veyo Solutions. It had created quite a buzz among those in their industry.
Cedric hadn’t made any official statement about it. However, the Veyo Solutions team knew what they needed to do to promote themselves. At the moment, they had gotten the news involving Cedric circulating.
Soon enough, Faye Technologies would probably have to face a rather formidable opponent.
While Chad was impressed by certain abilities Jayson had, this was the kind of rivalry that existed between different companies. Frankly, what Veyo Solutions did was still considered a valid, acceptable strategy.
“Let’s put those matters aside for now.”
Chad showed Ariel an email. “An international academic conference will be held in Merinia next week. We’ve received an invitation to the event.
“The flight control system that you’ve developed has brought a huge change to the tech industry overseas as well. You and I are both on the list of guests invited to the conference. So, we’ll go on a business trip next week?”
“Okay.” Ariel had no objections.
Following the incident involving Veyo Solutions, Ariel had also gained widespread recognition overseas as the individual who independently developed the new flight control system. She had finally managed to make a name for herself.
After creating the U.N2, Ariel had signed the non–disclosure agreement and even gotten married. No one outside of their country had heard of her name or knew what she did.
Not only was she benefiting from her newly gained fame this time, but Ariel would also be helping Faye Technologies expand their business abroad.
During their trip to Merinia, they would be able to learn more about the global market and the latest technological advancements achieved in different regions.
When she returned home, Ariel watered the gardenias that were placed next to the window.
She was about to shower and get some rest when she noticed Liam’s WhatsApp message.
“Ms. Walker, you should come for the medical examination when you’re free.”
Ariel could sense that Liam was a very responsible person in this regard. She did some mental calculations and realized it was about time she dropped by the hospital.
She replied to Liam’s message and told him she would be going there tomorrow.
Liam sent another response. “Alright. I’ll set up an appointment for you. So, just come over around that time.”
The next day, Ariel arrived at the hospital fairly early. There were quite a few people already waiting there to see
Liam too.
Liam was a young medical expert who’d gained a lot of experience from his time overseas. He was very different from the regular, on–duty doctors. It wasn’t a surprise that the hospital had decided to hire him to work for them.
Liam had arranged for Ariel to go for several medical tests and examinations. He had instructed his assistant to show Ariel the way around.

Ariel had been properly taken care of. The entire process was pretty quick and smooth. This was the good thing about getting treatment at a top–notch, private hospital.
When he came back with the results, Liam read the content on each paper carefully. He kept his face expressionless, maintaining a neutral look that wouldn’t make Ariel feel anxious or worried.-
Still, Ariel couldn’t help but feel a bit nervous.
Liam lifted his head. He noticed Ariel had pressed her lips together tightly. He softly said, “Don’t worry. I’ve seen cases that are much trickier than this.”
Ariel loosened her grip a little. “A full hysterectomy would be the safest option for me to go with, right?”
Liam nodded. “That is the case for most endometrial cancer patients. Fortunately, there are no signs of the cancer cells in your body having metastasized.”
Nevertheless, Ariel’s case was quite severe considering her current physical condition.
Liam didn’t point that out directly. He put down the X–ray scans and said, “I suppose you’ve already decided to do a full hysterectomy. Considering the current state of our country’s medical advancement, that is the safest approach. However…”
Liam could see from Ariel’s face that she had accepted the possibility that she might need to get a full hysterectomy. His tone softened.
“If you trust me, perhaps I can help you with your subsequent treatment. While I was providing medical assistance overseas, I had also worked on developing cancer medication and refining various surgical techniques
to remove tumors.
“There will be new treatment methods. These methods may seem more radical than the ones we already know. You can perhaps give it some thought.”
Liam had a bolder approach when it came to choosing and deciding treatment methods. Some patients would have concerns about that. After all, most people wouldn’t want to take the risk when a safer, more stable option was available.
Ariel understood what Liam was implying. A radical method meant there was a higher risk. However…
“Are you saying I can keep my uterus?”
“It’s possible.”
