Others might not be able to hold out like Nancy when faced with what she had been through recently.
Nancy had also demonstrated competence, whether it was the knowledge she had or her calm, steady speech during the presentation.
“Veyo Solutions‘ plan is quite complete and well–thought–out. They have an edge in the navigation system.” Chad turned his head and whispered to Ariel.
Ariel nodded.
Veyo Solutions had recruited and hired top experts from all over the world to work for them. They couldn’t possibly have come up with a mediocre plan. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have gotten the chance to be here that day.
At the same time, they had likely received help from Jayson as well.
Quite a few people looked at N
ancy approvingly by the time she had finished giving her presentation.
Setting aside certain things, she had an edge in terms of her skills and expertise.
It was Faye Technologies‘ turn next.
Chad patted Ariel’s shoulder. “You should do it.”
Ariel did not shy away from the task. Instead of sharing the plan they had prepared in advance, Ariel open. notebook and gave a detailed explanation of the plan she’d just come up with.
Zach subconsciously turned his gaze toward Ariel.
The data seemed to come alive with the way Ariel had described them. Almost everyone was impressed and enlightened by her every word.
Zach started bombarding Liam with messages on WhatsApp.
“I’m with Ariel right now. She’s so much more amazing than I imagined!”
“Gosh! She knows so much about materials science, even more than I do!”
“Compared to her status as Jayson Larkin’s wife, I think Ariel’s knowledge and expertise make her shine even more. I can somewhat observe a certain characteristic that you two have in common.”
Liam didn’t reply to any of his messages.
However, Zach wasn’t bothered by it. He simply wanted to express his shock and bewilderment.
Since Ariel already had a fair understanding of the Department of Defense’s demands, she was very critical and on point when sharing her ideas.
Even Hector Cresswell, the project’s lead, seemed surprised
“Your ideas are very insightful and progressive, Ms. Walker” Hector sounded quite impressed.
Nancy looked at Ariel expressionlessly. “It’s a decent plan, yet the execution won’t be easy. If the subsequent experiments were unsuccessful, we would have to allocate more manpower and resources to those areas.
“The idea regarding the dynamical system is obviously not that feasible either. It’ll only be a source for more problems.”
Nancy hadn’t mentioned any names. Yet, she managed to dismiss Ariel’s ideas with just a few comments.

Nancy wasn’t doing this to her on purpose. She was simply stating the facts. She couldn’t understand why Ariel would bother sharing such bizarre ideas that lacked factual evidence.
All Ariel had talked about were just grand, idealistic plans.
Some of the people there agreed with Nancy’s opinion.
Based on their past experience, Ariel’s plan came with certain risks–unless they could find ways to overcome issues related to the data and calculations.
Some people nodded in agreement after hearing Nancy’s comments. They had compared Nancy’s presentation and what Ariel had shared. Ultimately, these individuals still believed that Nancy’s plan was superior to Ariel’s, as it was more pragmatic and well–planned.
Ariel looked at Nancy calmly and said bluntly, “For someone like you, this plan will surely be too risky and difficult to execute. You should definitely work on improving yourself, Ms. Stanton.”
Her words sent a shock through the group of people in the room.
Nancy cast Ariel a stony gaze. “I’m just stating the issues from a realistic point of view. Most of the people here can already tell whether your plan is actually feasible. I hope you’ll stop making these personal attacks at me Ms. Walker.”
Chad smirked. It was okay for Nancy to question Ariel’s plan’s feasibility. Yet, Ariel was not allowed to ma rebuttal?
Ariel couldn’t possibly not notice some of Nancy’s hidden intentions.
With all the unfavorable news about her circulating recently, Nancy seized the opportunity to outshine Ariel by showcasing her knowledge and expertise during this meeting.
That was why she had pointed out the flaws in Ariel’s plan. Nancy was trying to show the others the differences in their capabilities by mocking and discrediting Ariel.
Despite that, Ariel had an indifferent look in her eyes. “Whether or not my plan is feasible, have I not proven a point by earning a total score of 469 points during the test?
