Dawson
It felt so good to be back at the ranch. As cliche as it sounds, there truly is no place like home. I made haste to get my things from my apartment, before heading back to Ashlynn. I practically jogged up her stairs, in spite of being bone tired. Once I entered, I locked the door behind me and made my way to the bedroom. I dropped my bag inside the closet door, and headed to the bathroom. I could hear the shower still on, so decided maybe I could join my little mate. I needed to hold her so badly, my heart was aching. We had spent to much time apart this past month and my wolf was going crazy as well. He was practically yelling in my head that I needed to go to her. I didn’t mind though. He had been silent in my head for weeks, so I welcomed his annoying rants back with open ears.
I opened the bathroom door, and as I walked in, Ashlynn turned and looked at me through the glass. A small knowing smile crept up onto her face as she gave me the come hither with her index finger. Looks like she wants me to join her in the shower as much as I wanted to be in there with her.
I made quick work of shedding my clothes, then flung the door open and climbed into the steamy hot shower. I hadn’t had a real shower the entire time I’d been at the hospital. They wouldn’t let me shower alone, in case I passed out, so I elected to just wash up in the sink. I didn’t want the nurses with me to shower, it felt wrong. Ashlynn did help me shower one of the days she was there, but it wasn’t like this. It was just to get me clean and feeling half decent. Even then, the nurse had come back several times to knock on the door and make sure we were ok. Ashlynn had rolled her eyes every time and whispered to me about how this lady must think she can’t bathe her own mate.
I stepped close to Ashlynn and she grabbed the loofa and body wash and started to lather me up. I tried to pull her into my body, but she quickly ducked and giggled, while still trying to wash me. “Come on Dawson, let me get you clean and then you can touch any part of me you want,” she said this while smiling the entire time, giving me every indication that she knew exactly where I wanted to touch her.
Ashlynn grabbed the shampoo once she had finished washing my body, and took great care in massaging my scalp. I stood there with my eyes closed, just enjoying the touch of my mate. When I opened my eyes, she was staring at my face, a soft look in her eyes. “You know, I am the luckiest man alive. I’m incredibly blessed, because I have you. I need nothing more than that,” I told her as I brushed a stray hair that was sticking to her wet cheek.
Ashlynn stepped into my embrace, brushing her lips to mine. That was all it took, like an invitation to do what I wished. I pulled her tight against me, running my lips along her jaw line in little kisses, until I reached her lips. I kissed her slowly at first, but she became impatient and dove her tongue into my mouth, fisting the back of my hair in her hand to pull me closer. I didn’t need to be told twice. I pushed her body up against the tile wall of the shower, never breaking the kiss. I trailed my hand to her breast, kneading it and pinching her nipple between two fingers. Even in the heat of the shower, it pebbled under my touch. Tracing my fingers down to her hip, I pulled it tight against me, feeling my growing member pressed against the softness of her skin. We spoke with our eyes, and she nodded her head at me, a sly smile on her lips. I crushed my lips to hers again and pushed her back against the mattress, then pushing her legs open with my knee. I kissed every inch of her body, nipping here and there as I went. When my mouth reached her inner thigh, I heard her quick intake of breath, as I inserted two fingers into her tight pussy, her back arching under my touch. More than life itself.” I knew at that moment, there was no place I’d rather be than here in her arms. I leaned to kiss her again, but before my lips met hers, she placed her hand on my chest to push me back just a little. “Dawson, I’m ready. Make love to me. Make me yours.”
Lifting myself up on my elbow, peering down at the most beautiful woman I had ever laid eyes on, I couldn’t help but ask, “are you sure?” She nodded yes in response.

We stopped to listen and it came again. With an eye roll and a sigh, Ashlynn moved herself off of me and grabbed her thick robe. “This better be important,” she growled out, making her way to answer the door. Just our luck.
