I made my way up to the loft, after putting the colt away. Ashlynn and I had decided I would move in with her a few weeks ago. I had moved all of my stuff from my apartment and we were all settled in. I could not have been happier. This woman was my whole world. We’ve had to postpone our mating ceremony to try to help out with getting everything taken care of regarding the attacks and the harassment of her mother. Not just that, but Carolyn and Cody were having their mating ceremony next week, and Ashlynn thought it best if we let them have their moment before we start planning ours.
I was in the kitchen making a sandwich when my beautiful mate came walking through the door. She was wearing scrubs and had her hair up in a messy bun, and no make up. She didn’t need it anyway, she was naturally beautiful. She didn’t look very happy right now though, and I was going to have to find out why as quick as possible, so I could get up to Cody’s office.
“What’s up babe? Do you want a sandwich? I’m making myself one, so I can make you one if you’re hungry,” I was thinking maybe she was just hungry. She had gotten up earlier than usual this morning, something about vaccinations being due on some of the horses.
“Sure. Thanks.” That was all she said as she walked into the bedroom and I heard the bathroom door shut and the shower turn on. I looked at the clock. It was just after noon, she didn’t usually cut out this early. Something must be wrong. I finished up our sandwiches and made my way into the bathroom. I could see her a thousand times behind that steamy shower door, and every time, I’d find her to be the sexiest woman alive. Trying to ignore my growing hard on, I opened the shower door so I could see her face.
“Ashlynn, what’s going on? You seem upset.” She turned around to face me, soap running down her body.
“I’m just having a bad day. My Mom came to the clinic crying. I had to sit with her for an hour. I got behind and then Mike had to leave early because the Alpha needed him to help with some stuff up at the house. I still have ten horses to vaccinate, but I’m totally burned out. I’m calling it a day. I feel bad, but I know the Council is coming in shortly and my Uncle asked me to be available.” She sighed and turned off the water stepping out of the shower. I handed her a towel and she wrapped it around herself.
“You need some help with that?“, she asked, as she stepped up to me and grabbed my hard on through my jeans. She stood on her tippy toes and gave me a kiss, a smirk on her face.
“If only I had time for that Ash, I’ve got to get up to Cody’s office. We can talk after, if you want.” She turned to head to the bedroom to put on some clothes.
“Ok. I will take a nap after I eat something,” she threw on some leggings and a t–shirt and followed me to the kitchen. “Thanks for the sandwich. I’d hug you but you are kind of a sweaty hot mess,” She winked at me as she took the sandwich and a bottle of water and went to sit on the couch.
Chuckling, I grabbed my sandwich and headed for the door. “I love you Ash, see you shortly.” I headed to Cody’s office, hoping that I could be of help to him, since I just missed out of having sex with my hot lady.
