Chapter 27
Seraphina went to apply for a visa, even though she knew that obtaining a visa for Denmark was very difficult, with a rejection rate as high as two–thirds. She handed in her documents to the auditor and anxiously waited for the results.
After five minutes of waiting, she received the expected news–her visa application to Denmark was refused due to her criminal record, which resulted in her four–year prison sentence.
Holding the returned documents, Seraphina walked down the street, filled with deep despair, heading
back to her own world.
Unconsciously, she walked to an intersection and inadvertently looked up at the office building across the
street.
“If I remember correctly, it’s Oliver Kensington’s company,” she spoke to herself.
In a flash, a bold and crazy idea flashed through Seraphina’s mind. Although it sounded absurd, it was her only chance now.
If Oliver was willing to help, she could reach Denmark within the next two days.
The more Seraphina thought about it, the more she couldn’t control her feet. She crossed the road and headed straight to Oliver’s company.
For the sake of her daughter, she had to put down her dignity, face shamelessly, and beg Oliver for help.
Because if she didn’t go, she would regret it for the rest of her life.
AFTER A WHILE
Oliver received a call from the front desk, informing him that Seraphina was downstairs. He was very surprised. He never thought she would come to the company to look for him.
“Let her come up.”
Two minutes later, Seraphina saw Oliver in his office. As she entered the door, she knelt on the ground without saying a word.
“Mr. Oliver, please help me. I’m desperate. Only you can help me now.”
Oliver was stunned. After a moment, he quickly stepped forward to help her up.
“Seraphina, what are you doing? If you have something to say, please get up and let’s talk. What’s wrong?”

Seraphina was determined to remain on her knees, and her sincere attitude made Oliver feel distressed.
“I have something to ask of you. It’s not a small matter. Please let me kneel and say it.”
“You…” This was the first time Oliver had encountered such a situation, and he felt quite embarrassed.
“No matter how big or small it is, please get up and say it.”
Seraphina still couldn’t bring herself to stand up and gritted her teeth as she expressed her request. Despite feeling ashamed, she had no other choice.
“Mr. Oliver, I want to beg you to send me to Denmark by private jet.”
Oliver was so surprised that he finally understood the meaning behind her earlier statement of a “no
small matter.”
Flying by private jet from New York City to Denmark was no small feat. However, for him, it wasn’t really
that big of a deal.
“Why are you suddenly going to Denmark?”
“Seraphinaana is in Denmark. She fell off a swing and hurt her head and ribs. Kaelan took her to Denmark to recuperate.”
Speaking of her daughter’s injury, Seraphina couldn’t help but cry.
When Oliver heard that Seraphinaana was injured, he felt anxious and distressed. Additionally, he felt a
sense of resentment towards Kaelan.
“What’s wrong with Kaelan? He didn’t even tell me that Seraphinaana was injured. He quietly went to Denmark without saying a word. He didn’t even consider my feelings.”
Seraphina didn’t expect Oliver’s relationship with Seraphinaana to be so good. She silently thanked him
in her heart.
“No need to explain. I understand what you mean. Get up, pack your things, and we’ll leave in an hour.” Oliver said seriously, not joking.
Seraphina cried tears of joy. “You agree?”
“Yes,” Oliver nodded.
Seeing her still kneeling, he deliberately spoke coldly, “If you don’t get up, I might regret helping you.”
Seraphina suddenly stood up, tears still streaming down her face, and bowed deeply to him.

“Thank you, Mr. Kensington, thank you. If you need me in the future, I will do my best and help however
I can.”
Oliver couldn’t express how he felt in his heart. He felt a strange tightness, but he couldn’t be bothered to
dwell on it.
“Give me your information. I’ll arrange a private jet for us. I’ll take care of the visa as well.”
“I’ve already applied, but it got rejected.”
“Leave it to me. Don’t worry about it.”
AN HOUR LATER
With a freshly approved visa in her hand, Seraphina sat in Oliver’s private jet. The moment they took off,
she thought she was dreaming and pinched her leg a few times.
Although it hurt, she was overjoyed.
It wasn’t a dream; everything was real. She was going to see Seraphinaana soon!
After more than eight hours of flight, Seraphina and Oliver arrived in Denmark safely.
When Kaelan received Oliver’s call, he wanted to punch him and scolded him with a stern face, “Who
told you to meddle in my business?”
He had made all kinds of calculations, but he never expected Seraphina to seek help from Oliver, let alone
that Oliver would agree to assist her.
The two of them had now arrived in Denmark together and were driving to Christopher Manor.
Meanwhile, Oliver was mentally prepared for Kaelan’s reaction, but he wasn’t angry. He spoke leisurely,
“I’m here to see Seraphinaana since she’s injured. As your good friend, I have the right to check on her.
Don’t be so defensive.”
“See it for yourself. Why did you bring Seraphina along?” Kaelan gritted his teeth.
“Come on, don’t act like a kindergarten child,” Oliver responded. He was ready to have a serious
conversation, a rare occurrence for him.
“I don’t want to express any opinions about your relationship with Seraphina. I just want to say that Seraphinaana is innocent. You can’t stop her from recognizing her own mother just because you dislike her. Whether you like it or not, Seraphinaana has a biological mother, and no other woman can replace
that. If…”
Kaelan became angrier and interrupted him sternly, “Oliver, shut up! It’s not your place to judge the

Winters family.”
“I’m just looking out for Seraphinaana,” Oliver retorted.
“No need!” Kaclan angrily hung up the phone.
“Damn it!” Oliver was deeply affected and felt a little angry. “Kaelan, you’re so immature. You can’t just
use foul language.”
At that moment, Seraphina, who had been silent for a while, suddenly spoke up, showing great humility, “I’m sorry. I’m the one who caused trouble for you.”
Even without hearing what Kaclan had said just now, she could guess that it was definitely not pleasant.
Oliver sighed helplessly and threw his phone aside.
“It’s fine. No matter how we argue, we won’t achieve anything. It’s about you. When you arrive at his place later, I’m afraid that Kaelan won’t give you a warm welcome.”
Seraphina lowered her head in embarrassment. “I know he doesn’t welcome me. I’m mentally prepared
for that.”
“Actually, that Kaelan…”
“It doesn’t matter what kind of person he is. I don’t dare to hope for anything anymore. I just want Seraphinaana to grow up healthy and happy.”
CHRISTOPHER MANOR
Passing through a dense forest, the white Bentley stopped at the entrance of the manor.
Taking in the surroundings, Seraphina observed the European–style castles scattered across the lawn, facing the sea.
Two cars were parked at the entrance–one for Oliver and one for Seraphina.
After entering the manor, Seraphina’s car continued driving east. After about ten minutes, it stopped in front of a two–story white building.
