“General Hawthorne, are you trying to Kill me?” Kuchard favs.
His face was filled with disbelief
He had never imagined there would come a day when Freder would press a gun to his head.
The reason behind it? Frederick couldn’t move on from Claire’s
death.
Richard suddenly laughed, reaching out to grip the gun barrel “Fine. If shooting me can wake you up, then do it. I can’t bear to watch you torment yourself like this day after day.”
Frederick grew angrier as Richard grasped his gun.
Richard closed his eyes.
But in the end, Frederick lowered the gun in his hand.
“Get out!” Frederick roared.
“Alright, but you can’t keep going on like this. You must take care of yourself,” Richard said.
He then turned to leave the room.
Frederick gripped the gun, the muzzle pointing down.

He hadn’t come home last night, and she had thought it was work again.
She had prepared a good meal, but when she arrived at the Kingstown Security Department, they told her about Frederick’s sudden faint. So, she rushed to his side.
“It’s nothing. Just tired recently. You can go back now,” Frederick replied.
For some reason, the sight of Caroline reminded him of the horrific moment when Claire had burned to death.

Caroline was startled, dropping the knife and fork.
“Frederick, why are you yelling at me? she murmured pitifully.
“Get out!” Frederick bellowed, his rage flaring up again.
For the first time, he felt such overwhelming hatred toward her
He grabbed the nearest object and hurled it in her direction.
He didn’t realize he had picked up a pair of surgical scissors from the medical cart beside him.
