Molly stared wide–eyed at the man in front of her, thinking to herself that happiness came too suddenly. She hadn’t even spoken yet, and he had already recommended himself.
She was smiling inside but didn’t want to show it too openly. She asked again, “Dr. Walker, are you sure you don’t want to think it over?”
Seeing that she had no interest in him, Remy wasn’t pleased. “What’s wrong? Are my abs not good enough?”
In front of her, he slowly began unbuttoning his shirt.
Molly was stunned. Beneath his white shirt, his muscles were well–defined. She hadn’t expected Dr. Walker to be so well- built.
She quickly pressed his hand down. “Okay, okay, Dr. Walker. Thank you.”
Lia’s face turned red, but he seemed pleased. “You want to touch them?”
Before she could respond, he grabbed her hand and slid it under his shirt.
His chest was hard, hot, and burning. Molly blushed and quietly swallowed.
“Dr. Walker, do you work out?” She froze, not daring to move her hand, wondering why Dr. Walker cared so much about his abs.
The man’s expression softened. “Sometimes.”
“Okay. Are we finished?” Molly smiled awkwardly.
‘Sometimes? Must be in his genes,‘ she thought.
It’s like some people gain weight just by drinking water, but she’s the type who eats a lot but doesn’t gain weight.
“Don’t you want to touch a little more?” said Remy.
His ears turned red, and an unnatural flush appeared on his face.
Her touch felt so comfortable.
“No need, it’s fine now.” Molly awkwardly pulled her hand back. “Thank you, Dr. Walker, for solving a big problem for me. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure the cameraman makes you look handsome.”
Remy didn’t care about the filming at all. “That’s not important.”
“Alright then,” said Molly.
“Since it’s not important, why is he willing to do the filming?” Molly found Remy’s mind hard to read.
He leaned slightly forward, staring at her intently. “Molly, I just thought of something.”
“What is it?” she asked.
He smiled faintly. “If I don’t succeed in this blind date with your friend, my parents will still arrange other women for me.”
R
That was true. She hadn’t thought about it that much, only focused on Fiona.

“Dr. Walker, maybe you should listen to your parents and go on more blind dates. You’ll find someone suitable eventually.” Molly advised kindl
When the man heard this, his face fell, and he poked her forehead. “Molly, you should go all the way when helping others
“What do you mean?” She suddenly had the feeling she was about to be tricked.
“Be my contract girlfriend. That way, my parents won’t arrange other matches for me,” said Remy.
“No, no, Dr. Walker, can’t you find someone else?” Molly didn’t like the idea.
She had been so busy lately, and if things didn’t work out, it would be troublesome.
She didn’t want to do it, and this made Remy’s confidence take a huge hit.
“All my friends know that you are my girlfriend. Are you asking me to date multiple women?” said Remy.

Molly thought about it for a momentalized that it would be tough for him if he had to keep up the lie. “But… occasionally it’s fine, but pretending all the time might be overstepping.”
“Molly, we’re helping each other. If you want to avoid blind dates, you can come to me, or you can talk to me about work matters. Whether it’s modeling or anything else.”
She was still young and didn’t need to worry about getting married soon. Her mother wasn’t pressuring her at all, so it wasn’t an issue. But on the other hand, having a model available was not a bad deal at all.
“Okay, Dr. Walker, I agree,” said Molly.
‘It’s just pretending to be a girlfriend, no big deal,’ she thought.
After weighing the pros and cons, Molly agreed.
Remy’s palm was sweaty, and when she agreed, the tension in his chest finally eased.
“Dr. Walker, I look forward to our cooperation.” Molly extended her hand first.
“I hope you’ll be happy.” Remy grasped her small hand, and a flicker of light passed through his eyes.
Happy? Of course I’m happy!‘ Molly thought to herself. After all, it was just a fake relationship, and she could end it whenever she wanted. It seemed like she wasn’t losing anything.
“Dr. Walker, I’ll go handle something. Feel free to sit. I’ll be back soon.” She wondered how Linda was handling things.
“Go ahead, I’ll wait for you,” he said with a smile.
“Okay.” Molly hurriedly left, leaving Remy alone.
He looked around her office with interest–fake mannequins, some materials for clothing, and many sketches she had drawn on her desk. Remy casually glanced at a few.
Though he didn’t understand design, he thought her designs were great.
On the left side, there was a family photo. Seeing her friends in it didn’t surprise him.
He hadn’t been in touch with Coby lately and didn’t know what he was up to.
He wondered if Coby knew his sister had become so comfortable touching men’s chest muscles.

On the right side was a single photo of Molly from her school days. She was making a peace sign, smiling sweetly.
When Remy put the photo back in place, he accidentally knocked over a book, and it fell to the ground, scattering some of her sketches.
He crouched down to pick up the book and sketches, but when he looked at one of the designs, his eyes froze.
‘What am I looking at?‘ He couldn’t believe it.
It was a sexy lingerie.
In an instant, Remy felt like his head was about to explode.
She drew this? What was she thinking?
Remy wanted to ask but didn’t dare. Their relationship wasn’t at that point yet.
Was this design for herself? His mind uncontrollably imagined her wearing it.
He was losing it.
Remy slapped himself. ‘What on earth am I thinking?‘
A few minutes later, Molly returned to the office and saw him looking at a photo of her, feeling completely embarrassed.
“Dr. Walker, I’m done with my work,” said Molly.
He awkwardly glanced at her. “Molly, let me take you out for a meal as a way to thank you for your help.”
“It’s nothing, Dr. Walker, you’ve helped me a lot too, so let me treat you,” said Molly.
Molly looked at her outfit and decided to change since he probably didn’t like it. “Dr. Walker, please wait for a moment. I’ll go change into something else, and then we can go eat.”
Her office had a lounge with all the essentials, and Molly often kept clothes there for when she needed a break or when inspiration struck.
“Okay.” Remy couldn’t help but swallow as he waited.
As she changed in the lounge, he stayed in the office, his mind running wild, getting drier and drier.
When Molly came out, he was leaning back on the couch, eyes closed, as if deep in thought.
“Dr. Walker, what were you thinking?” she asked.
“Hmm?” He suddenly opened his eyes and found her standing so close. His face turned bright red.
“N–nothing.” Remy quickly stood up, moving his neck around, drenched in sweat.
“Is my outfit not good?” she asked as he seemed to dislike it.
Molly looked at her clothes–normal, nothing wrong.
“No, it looks great. Let’s go. What do you want to eat?” he asked.
Molly had removed her heavy makeup, looking even more innocent. “It’s up to you.”
“I want to have some grilled fish, is that okay?” asked Remy. Molly found it strange but couldn’t quite explain why.

“Sure.” said Remy.

They arrived at the grilled fish restaurant, and Molly eagerly introduced it.
“Dr. Walker, we come here often. The taste is pretty good.”
“Who do you come here with?” he asked with interest.
“With colleagues.” Molly liked grilled fish, so she came here more often.
Remy smiled slightly. “We should come here more often.”
Sure, Dr. Walker. Can I ask you something?” Molly asked, her curiosity piqued.
“What?”
“Why don’t you want to have a girlfriend?” She didn’t want to believe that he was the type of person who didn’t care about relationships.
Remy didn’t answer directly but asked, “What do you think the reason is?”
“Haven’t met the right one? Or do you like men?” asked Molly. Being a designer, Molly had become acquainted a lot of people of different orientations.
“Nah, I like women.” He smiled.
He had imagined a lot of things about Molly already.
“Oh, good news for the ladies. Let’s eat,” Molly teased.
“Hmm.” Remy started cutting his grilled salmon.
“Look how juicy it is!” said Molly excitedly.
Remy ate slowly and suddenly asked, “Why don’t you have a boyfriend?”
“Me? There’s no one suitable,” she replied. The main reason was her dad and brother. Compared with them, other men offen failed to impress her.
He put down his knife and fork and looked at her. “So, what kind of person do you like?”
Molly grinned. “Someone like my dad and brother, loyal and caring. My brother behaves completely differently when he’s with us and with his wife.”
Remy raised an eyebrow. “I can tell.”
“Hmm? What can you tell?” Molly didn’t understand his meaning.
“Nothing. Just eat,” Remy said.
“Dr. Walker, how does it taste?” she asked.
“It’s really good,” he said.
After the meal, Remy paid the bill before Molly had a chance to protest. She pouted. “Dr. Walker, I should be the one treating.”
“Next time,” he said.

He glanced at his watch. “Want to take a walk?”
“Sure! I feel so stuffed,” said Molly.

The two strolled aimlessly onto the bustling street. Things quickly got awkward, and Molly didn’t know what to say. She kept glancing around and soon fell behind him.
Spotting a snack stand ahead, Remy stopped.
“Molly,” he said.
Huh?” Molly nearly bumped into him as she touched her nose in embarrassment.
“Want some candy floss?” he asked.
“Candy floss?” Her eyes lit up.
She did like it, but eating that as an adult felt a bit embarrassing. “Maybe not…”
“We can share it,” he said.
“Dr. Walker, do you like it?” Molly asked in surprise.
“Why not?” Remy remembered how she had begged Coby with tears in her eyes for cotton candy once. The memory was vivid.
“Alright, let’s get some. I’ll go buy it.” Molly ran off with a smile. If he didn’t mind the embarrassment, why should she?
Watching her retreating figure, Remy smiled faintly and followed her at a leisurely pace.
