“Childish,” Isabella muttered under her breath, shutting the door behind her. Just then, her phone chimed with a new message. She carelessly tossed the gauze aside and picked up her phone from the bed.
She received a simple “Hello“.

In the studio, everyone was caught up in a whirlwind of busyness. Theodore had also taken on a few projects, and Isabella’s first task each day was to set up her tablet to play animations for inspiration while working on character designs on her computer.
By the end of the day, she could produce 20 to 30 sketches.
Once she completed the initial drafts for the game characters, she packaged them all up and sent them to the man with the nickname “Black Dot” on WhatsApp.
When it came to work matters, his replies were quick and characteristically concise.

Isabella had no complaints. She even called Arlan over to help her correct mistakes and give
suggestions.
Three afternoons later, she revised the second version of the sketches and sent him again.
At the same time, Amelia messaged her. “I’m going to Marina Bay for an outdoor shoot in a couple of days. Want to join?”
Isabella replied almost instantly. “Absolutely.”
Years of experience taught her not to focus all her attention on a single task, as it could become tiresome. So, after several intense workdays, she decided to take a trip to unwind.
Amelia understood her well.

That afternoon, as she was packing up to leave for the day, she mentioned her upcoming trip to Marina Bay to Theodore. He didn’t have any objections and expressed hope that she could gather some materials for him.
She readily agreed.
The next morning, she boarded the same flight as Amelia, heading straight to Marina Bay.
Their destination was a small town in Marina Bay, surrounded by mountains and water and boasted stunning scenery. As soon as they landed, they felt the pleasant and comfortable climate, along with the sweet scent lingering in the air.
Isabella snapped a photo of the clear blue sky.
Amelia tossed a large bag at her. “Stop dawdling! We have things to do this afternoon. It’s going to be busy.”
Following the navigation on her phone, she searched for the location of the stay she had booked, glancing at her phone as she walked.
Isabella caught up with small strides. “What do you mean ‘we‘? Are you sure it’s not just you?”
“You saw it. I came alone this time, without any help,” Amelia said, giving her a pitiful look and fluttering her eyelashes.
“Is your TV station that stingy?”
Amelia hesitated for a moment. “This task was actually my own idea. They didn’t agree to it and didn’t even provide funding.”
“What big plan do you have?” Isabella finally showed interest in the matter.
“I’m planning to shoot a documentary! Look at this place. It’s so beautiful, yet people call it a backwater. I just want to bring attention to it and give it some life.”
“My so–called superiors think this documentary won’t make money, so they’re unwilling to invest. But I’m not short on cash. How can they stop me? I even quit my job for this!”
