Chapter 12
Alpha Luther’s POV.
Before I went to get Marina, I had made sure to set the mood of my room. The room I took her to was different from the last. It was the room I had designed for a situation like this.
The room I would be meeting her in.
Our playroom.
Adorned with rich furnishings, I was sure she could see a testament to my status as the pack’s alpha. I was wealthy and I loved to show it off.
I had asked the decorator to drape the walls in heavy, dark fabrics, making the low glow of strategically placed candles that I had asked to be lit, cast flickering shadows across the polished surfaces.
It looked luxurious and that was my aim. I smiled to myself as I saw it through the eyes of a guest, good work.
Impressed by what I had seen, I motioned for her to sit somewhere.
*Alpha, can I ask you a question?” I heard her say.
I expected it to be something about what we had said earlier and so I readied myself.
I felt my body slowly beginning to cry as I stood there and so I turned to wash my face.
I came back refreshed, “What is it?”
She hesitated again.
“Continue with your question,” I instructed, my piercing gaze fixed on Marina.
Like always, my voice resonated with authority, yet there was a subtle softness that emerged when I addressed her.
I wondered if that scared her.
She hesitated for a moment, her eyes flickering around the room. “Alpha Luther,” she began, her voice a gentle whisper amid the room’s silence, “is there a time when you’ll let me go?”
My brows furrowed, and a flicker of annoyance crossed my eyes.
“Let you go,” I repeated what she had said.
The notion of someone asking to leave my pack, especially someone as vital as Marina in my life, went against my instincts.
However, I suppressed the immediate feeling of irritation, reminding myself that I didn’t need to be so upset all the time.
“Why would you wish to leave?” I asked softly, and my tone was gentle too. My eyes locked on hers, searching for the truth behind her request.
Marina sighed softly, her gaze dropping from my face to the ground and then back before she eventually spoke
“I wish to find a mate, Alpha Luther. To settle down and build a life of my own.”
Her words hung in the air, and I felt a pang of conflict within myself.
Unlike the girls I had fucked in the past, Marina was gentle.
She looked pure and innocent. She was like a flower I would not want to pluck, even when it was in its most beautiful state.
The sight of her made me smile.
However, one thing was the problem.
Marina, as an omega, was the worst thing that could ever happen as a mate for me.
Her departure would leave a void for me, but only as a sex thing.
It was just one truth that lingered in my mind: an omega could never mate with an alpha.
Especially not me.
Internally, I wrestled with conflicting emotions. A part of me wished that maybe Marina or I hailed from a different life, a life where I was still

Chapter 12
Alpha but had not been scared by an omega. Yet, the reality was that every time I thought of their existence, anger loomed over me like a shadow, reminding me of how much I should distance myself from them and make sure to punish whichever one I could see.
Just like how I intended to do it with her tonight.
My expression softened as I considered Marina’s request. And
“Marina,” I began, my voice a low rumble, “I brought you hear to suck, fuck and rock.”
She looked taken aback. I didn’t mind. I continued.
“You are an important part of this pack. You might not be important to them, but you are to please me, and trust me, pack.”
“With that in mind, I will not be letting you go until I see fit. Is that clear?”
Marina’s eyes betrayed a mix of disappointment and understanding. My words could not be argued with.
I was being too nice, I thought; if it were not for the tension building in my legs, I would have yelled at her.
happy alpha is a happy
She lowered her head and sighed deeply. She looked disappointed. Her dreams and aspirations were at odds with my final verdict.
I wanted it to sink in.
After observing her reaction, I felt a twinge of regret.
“But why do you wish to leave so urgently? Is there something missing here?” I asked, genuine concern tainting my voice.
Marina hesitated before responding, “It’s not about what’s missing, Alpha Luther. It’s about what I want that I can’t have here. I want a connection, a mate, and a family of my own. I understand I am to be with you, but my heart yearns for something more.”
I absorbed her words, the weight of her desires echoing in the silence.
“I understand. As my mistress, you belong to me for now, I pray that one day you get what you
desire…”
I decided I was tired of the small talk we were having.
My dick began to harden again. I caught a glimpse of her perky breast, and all the pity I had in my heart flew out of the window.
Now, all I could think of was to fuck her, and that was what was going to happen.
I pulled my pants down and raised her chin to face me.
“Who knows, if you treat me right, I might just find a mate for you.”
I smirked.
“Really? Her eyes brightened. I had never seen them so bright. I nodded, admitting to what I was not sure of.
I didn’t even know how it came about.
“Just as long as you behave yourself properly.”
A glint of hope sparked in her eyes. Good, that’s what I wanted to see before.
“Come here and give me some sugar.”
