“Hurry. Get him to the hospital,” Calvin ordered his underling lowly.

As he took over the situation, Myrna bent down and picked up her backpack, looking ready to leave despite that she was soaked.

Although the summer sun was strong, the wind was no less chilly.

Calvin stopped her from walking away and took off his coat before draping it over her shoulders, not taking no for an answer. Gripping her slim wrist swiftly, he asked, “Where are you going? I’m taking you to the hospital.

Any wound would stand out on her fair skin, no matter how minor it was.

Myrna failed to break free from his vice–like grip. Her vessel on her temper bulged as she looked annoyed and rebellious. “It’s just a small graze. I can fix it by going to a pharmacy and applying some erythromycin to it.”

Because of Stephanie’s health, she had been to the hospital too many times and only wanted to stay as far away from it as possible.

Calvin wasn’t asking for her opinion. He had made up his mind, a determined look on his polished handsome face. Refusing to let go of her wrist, he said, “Go to a hospital or I’m calling your grandpa. Make your choice.”

Myrna was dumbfounded.

She wondered, “What’s wrong with him?”

Outside of the surrounding crowd, Blake had arrived.

He squeezed into the center of the crowd and immediately noticed Calvin, who stood out among the crowd. He was gripping a girl’s wrist. The girl’s skin was so fair that she looked like she was glowing. She also had a pair of long straight legs and her clothes looked familiar. Blake couldn’t help but think he had seen them somewhere

Myrna didn’t expect that Blake would show up. Besides her head, she felt a dull pain in her abdomen too. She wondered if it was because she stayed too long in cold water.

She thought, “What’s going on? My luck today sucks.

“Hi, Calvin.” After greeting Calvin, Blake turned his full attention to Myrna. When he took in her soaked clothes and pale face, he asked anxiously, “What happened? Why does Mya have so many injuries? And her neck is scratched? No.“.

The whole Larson family treated Alfredo like the most valuable treasure. He prayed that Alfredo would be fine. If anything happened to him, Melcester would be in big trouble.
