Listening to Andrew’s words, Alyssa thought he was quite filial, ut his caring words came out more like threats. She found it silly and thought, ‘Isn’t he just wearing down their family bonds
What Alyssa didn’t know was that Leanna actually needed to be reatened. She wouldn’t listen to regular concerns. Leanna had her own way of thinking.
Not wanting to deal with Andrew’s affairs, Alyssa focused on her own tasks. She hung up her few outfits in the wardrobe and then prepared to wash up and go to bed.
Only then did she realize that the room she’d chosen didn’t have an en–suite bathroom, so she had to grab her clothes and toiletries and head to the communal bathroom.
However, as she was about to push the door open, the door suddenly swung inward. Andrew stepped out, his hair slightly damp, a towel wrapped around his waist, and his phone in hand
He hadn’t expected to see anyone standing outside the bathroom, and in his surprise, he dropped his phone with a clatter. Instinctively, he tightened his grip on the loosely wrapped towel as if it might fall off at any moment.
Alyssa’s gaze couldn’t help but take in Andrew’s firm muscles and six–pack abs. She swallowed involuntarily. She didn’t expect that Andrew, who looked so average in clothes, had such an impressive physique.
Seeing Alyssa gulp, Andrew frowned and said, “Were you spying on me? What, is Sean’s shape too lacking to satisfy your desires?”
Alyssa rolled her eyes and felt that Andrew was infuriating. She stomped on his foot and snapped, “I’m just here to take a shower! Do you have any misunderstandings about your shape? You call that good?”
She gave him another once–over and added, “Pretty small.”
After her jab, Alyssa realized that maybe she shouldn’t be so harsh. After all, she was living under his roof. She quickly adjusted her tone and expression.

One moment she was mocking him, and the next she was smiling sweetly at him.
When he didn’t respond, Alyssa asked again, “Mr. Coleman, may I?”
Andrew finally managed to squeeze out, “Yes.”

“Thank you!” Alyssa smiled brightly, and as she was about to step into the bathroom, she turned back and teased, “No peeking.”
Andrew was speechless.
Alyssa entered the bathroom and, feeling a bit paranoid, locked the door securely. Andrew, on the other hand, returned to
his room.
He usually didn’t lock his door at night. Sometimes he didn’t even close it. After all, he was the only one living in the house. But tonight, recalling the way Alyssa had looked at him, he instinctively locked his door.
After finishing her shower and getting ready for bed, Alyssa also locked her door tightly before lying down. She thought she

The elaborate trap she had set for Alyssa today had ended up ensnaring herself instead, and it was all because of Alyssa.
