Chapter 57
Alyssa gave a faint simile. “I’m curious to see if I can stay.”
Sarah humphed coldly upon hearing this.
At this moment, Cathy emerged from her office, and Sarah rushed over to her impatiently, saying, “Cathy, she got in through Mr, Hunt. We can’t keep her.”
Cathy raised one hand to stop her from going on.
She gave Alyssa a thorough once–over and sneered, “You’re quite capable. Mr. Hunt is known for being loyal to only Mr. Coleman. You actually managed to get him to open the back door for you. Impressive.”
Alyssa raised an eyebrow and smiled at her. “You’ll see even more impressive things in the future.”
Cathy humphed coldly. “Don’t think good looks are everything. At Coleman Fashion, we value ability. An empty case won’t stay long.”
Finishing, she turned to Sarah. “Process her onboarding.”
“Cathy…” Sarah wanted to say something more.
But Cathy gave her a deep look, causing her to swallow her words.
Only after Cathy left did Sarah huff and puff at Alyssa. “Give me your badge. I’ll handle your onboarding.”
Alyssa did as she was told.
Sarah glanced at the photo on her badge and muttered softly, “She does have a seductive look.”
With that, she took Alyssa’s badge to register it while Alyssa stood quietly waiting.
After the registration was completed, Sarah took the file to Cathy’s office.
Cathy looked at Alyssa’s file, her eyebrows furrowing slightly. “It’s her. It’s actually her.”
“Who? Cathy, do you know her?” Sarah asked.
“She’s the woman who humiliated Mr. Coleman two years ago, the fiancée of our rival company’s CEO,” Cathy said. “What? She’s engaged? Then why is she messing around with Mr. Hunt…” Sarah exclaimed in surprise. “Does Mr. Hunt not know her identity and get tricked by her? Should we give him a heads–up?”
Cathy sneered, “As savvy as Mr. Hunt, how could he not know her identity?”
“Then why is he still getting involved with her?” Sarah frowned, puzzled.
“No man can resist a beauty. With her looks, any man would fall for her,” Cathy said coldly.
“Alas…” Sarah bit her lower lip. “Even the handsome and capable Mr. Hunt was bewitched by that seductress.”
Cathy clenched her teeth, her long nails digging into Alyssa’s resume and crumpling the thin pages. “Any man would fall for her…”
Finally, she said through gritted teeth, “We absolutely cannot let Mr. Coleman see her.“.
“Well, Cathy, can you think of a way to get her to resign?” Sarah urged anxiously.

Chapter 37
“We can’t afford to offend Mr. Hunt for now.” Cathy pursed her lips,
“So what should we do?” Sarah frowned.
“Assign her a desk at the very back row. You’ll take care of the day duties of Mr. Coleman. Keep her away from him, and have her run errands for other departments like delivering documents, and collecting reports. Keep her off her desk as much as possible.”
“Got it.” Sarah nodded, hesitant as she added, “But as long as she here, there’s always a chance she gets to see Mr. Coleman
Cathy sneered upon hearing this, “We can’t afford to offend Mr. lunt, but if she gets herself fired for making mistakes, Mr. Hunt would have nothing to say then.”
