Shana stayed quiet for a while, and then looked at Henry “All of this is for mer
“Yep, Henry said, tilting his chin up and putting his homes in his pockets, clearly expecting her to be
excited.
“Mr. Floyd, I’m not sure what you’re getting at Shana said.
Henry shot her a sideways look and asked, “Don’t you like this kind of stuff?
Her superficial tastes seemed to be all about things like this. If it would make her stop causing trouble, he didn’t mind using Damon’s approach to “please her.
Realizing what he was hinting at, Shana walked over, picked up one of the bags, and lightly touched it. do like these. This bag for instance, is the only one in the world. How many women wouldn’t dream of having it?”
Henry wasn’t surprised by her response, It looked like the drama was finally coming to an end.
“It’s a shame, but F’m not interested in these anymore, Shana said, putting the bag down. She tried to look away and keep her feelings in check.
She had just told Kate that she’d never get a magazine interview in her lifetime, and now he was using his connections to get her one, making her look foolish.
Even after all this humiliation, he still put on an act. How annoying.
“I’m only interested in one thing right now, Shana said.
Henry’s eyebrows barely twitched before he seemed to understand. He gave a lazy smile and said, “Go ahead.”
“Sign the divorce papers!” Shana pulled the agreement from her bag and handed it to him.
His handsome face turned dark. Was this woman just a broken record, only ever talking about divorce when she saw him?
He grabbed the papers and tore them up without saying a word
Shana didn’t stop him. After he was done, she simply pulled out another copy from her bag and handed it to him again.
“Mr. Floyd, there are no paparazzi around. If you sign this, the lawyer can handle the divorce tomorrow without anyone noticing.
“And don’t worry, I won’t use the divorce to create problems. I’ve added a new clause to the agreement. After the divorce, we’ll keep it private until both of us agree to make it public, ensuring it doesn’t hurt either of us. either
Henry was surprised to see her smile. He looked at her coldly and said, “You’ve really thought of everything”

“Thanks for the compliment,” she said.

She was the kind of person who dealt with problems directly, and finding a future ex–wife this thoughtful was nearly impossible. This se’mbag just didn’t deserve her.
Henry took the agreement and quickly glanced through it. It was just as she had said.
Shana handed him a pen and pointed to the signature line. “Just sign here, with a little doodle or whatever.”
Instead of signing, Henry threw the divorce agreement onto the coffee table and sat down on the sofa. Hist voice was unexpectedly calm. “Shana, you should know how stubborn men can be. The more you push, the less likely I am to agree to the divorce.”
Shana was taken aback.
She was making all these concessions, and he still had the nerve to play hard to get? What kind of
nonsense was this?
She clenched her fists, her words coming out one by one. “Henry, what will it take for you to agree to the
divorce!”
He glanced at her and said, “It depends on your attitude”
With that, he leaned back against the sofa. His long fingers pinched his brow, clearly uncomfortable.
Whenever he drank too much in the past, Shana was always super attentive.
She knew he’d get headaches from drinking, so she even learned some massage techniques from an alternative medicine expert. After giving him a hangover remedy, she’d help him settle into bed and give him a relaxing massage. It helped him sleep well and kept him from feeling awful the next day.
Seeing him like this, it was pretty obvious what was going on.
If she wanted a divorce, she needed to take care of him first.
She stood there for a moment, as if making up her mind, and then put on a forced smile and said, “Got it.”
She turned and headed for the door.
“Where are you going?”
“Mr. Floyd, I’m just going to step out and get ready. I’ll be back soon.”
Shana even gave him a playful wink with her dark eyes, just like she used to when she was teasing him.
Seeing her back to normal, Henry’s frown relaxed a bit and a faint smile appeared on his lips.
But as soon as she was out of the bedroom, her face turned serious.
Ugh, that sc“mbag still expects me to take care of him? Not a chance!
She grabbed her phone and sent a message to Kate.

After Henry finished his shower and stepped out in a loose bathrobe, he looked up to see a graceful figure standing there, holding a hangover remedy.
She gazed at him with a tender, affectionate look.
When the phone rang. Shana had already driven away, Glancing at the screen with “Sc’mbag flashing, she felt annoyed.
At a red light, she stopped the car, put on her Bluetooth headset, and answered.
His voice came through, deep and filled with anger. “Did you have Kate come over?”
Shana put on a fake smile and said, “No need to thank me. Just make sure to sign the divorce papers!”
“Who do you think you are?” He was even more angry.
Shana was confused. He didn’t love her, so wouldn’t it make more sense for him to prefer having his beloved darling Kate take care of him?
She could handle the discomfort of having Kate come over, so why was he still so mad?
It hit her suddenly. He knew he was a pain when drunk and didn’t want to put his true love through that. So he always called on her to deal with the mess.
To him, she was just a backup, no need to care about her feelings.
Another painful realization struck her, and she gripped the steering wheel tightly.
“I warned you not to test my limits. Even through the phone, the sense of intimidation was overwhelming.
Shana felt a wave of sadness, realizing how dumb she had been in the past. She shot back, “So what if I did? Go ahead and call the cops.”
Her defiant, fearless tone seemed to infuriate Henry. He was so angry that he couldn’t respond, and all she could hear on the other end was heavy breathing.
She took pleasure in his frustration and added, “You’re so hypocritical! I can’t stand people like you. Just take your mistress and get out of my life!”
