“I’m here.” Shana snapped out of her thoughts and casually shared what Alex had done.
Cheryl couldn’t help but gush. “Your boss truly lives up to his reputation! You can tell he knows his stuff just by the way he handles it! By the way, how old is he? Is he handsome? Is he married?
The topic suddenly veered into matchmaking territory.
Shana was speechless. “Why do you want to know that?”
“Gossip is human nature! Plus, this mysterious Mr. Morrison–we’ve all heard his name, but no one’s ever seen his face. Everyone in the industry is dying to know!”
That was true. Shana was just as curious.
However, she had never met Alex and didn’t know what he looked like, how old he was, or anything about his personal life. Every contact with him had been through email.
She had tried to ask around with colleagues, but no one seemed to know anything. All she could confirm was that he was a man.
And not just any man–he was a brilliant strategist, with a sharp eye and a protective streak.
She answered honestly, “I really don’t know.”
