Hearing someone calling her name, Sylvia turned her head expressionlessly.
She guessed that Nancy and Edgar would show up, but ever since Edgar asked her to apologize in the villa, she had given up on him.
Currently, Edgar was just an unimportant ex–husband to her.
Smiling decently, she took Patric’s arm and went forward to socialize.
Seeing Sylvia and Patric walking toward her, Nancy was surprised, and she subconsciously turned to look at Edgar next to her.
Staring at Sylvia attentively, Edgar seemed shocked, yet no one knew what he was thinking about.
Because of what had happened during the day, he felt a little guilty.
But just a few hours later, not only did Sylvia change her appearance, but she hooked up with another
man!
Admittedly, she was indeed beautiful tonight.
Although they had been married for three years, he didn’t know that she could be so amazing.
He thought, “Could it be that Patric is her new man?
“She just got divorced in the morning, but she found a man at night. What the hell is going on?”
Edgar felt very strange in his heart. Looking indifferent, he was about to lose his temper.
He glared at Sylvia, who was walking toward him. He was waiting for a reasonable explanation from her.
As they were about to approach him, they turned around and shook hands with the president of the Boundless Glory Group with a smile, treating him like thin air!
Given what they were doing, they undoubtedly took him lightly.
He sensed that Patric also seemed hostile toward him.
Edgar looked more and more sullen, and Nancy became a little awkward. Just now, she had reached out her hand and planned to sow discord between them.

Edgar’s younger sister, Mia Fallen, also came to the banquet. She was tasting champagne in the hall when she heard the commotion at the door.
Leaning closer to Nancy and gently rubbing her shoulder, Mia asked, “Nancy, how did that bitch get in?”
Nancy’s eyes lit up as she whispered, “You don’t know yet, do you, Mia? Sylvia and Edgar got divorced in the morning. I didn’t expect her to find a new backer so soon. I wish her all the best.”
Mia’s face gradually turned livid.
“Blessing my ass!”
She glared at Sylvia, who was socializing with Patric, and said, “She just divorced Edgar in the morning,
but she found another man to take her to such a high–end party in the evening. She moved so fast!”
She added, “That bitch! She must have hooked up with the man before the divorce! How dare she cheat
on Edgar? I’ll tear her face apart!”
Mia was hot–tempered. Feeling angry, she immediately rushed in Sylvia’s direction.
Nancy pretended to dissuade her and tried to pull her back, only to fail. Then she smiled in secret.
“Sir!”
Hearing Mia’s shout, Patric turned around. Seeing his handsome face, Mia was in a daze.
How could there be such a man as handsome as Edgar in Frant City?
For a moment, she had never been as jealous of or angry with Sylvia in her life.
“Who are you?”
Patric glanced at her indifferently.
Sylvia moved closer to his ear with a smile and explained, “She used to be my sister–in–law. She’s the most arrogant person in the Fallen family.”
Hearing this, Patric looked more gloomy.
Although Sylvia said that after moving close to Patric, her voice was not low, so Mia could hear her words clearly. The way Sylvia and Patric were intimate got on her nerves.
Given that this handsome guy was in front of her, Mia restrained the ferocious look on her face and tried to persuade him with kind words, but she spoke deliberately in a sharp voice.
