Sylvia frowned and glared at her, saying, “Ms. Gordan, please watch your mouth. Mr. Smith personally approved my position. If you’re not convinced, ask him for an explanation in person.”
Her words rendered Lucy speechless. She could only glare at Sylvia with resentment.
Sylvia was not annoyed. Taking a sip of coffee with a smile, she said, “I’m indeed inexperienced, but I’m afraid you’re not qualified to question my educational background.”
At her words, Lucy laughed. Crossing her hands, Lucy looked at her sarcastically and said, “Oh? Which lowly college did you graduate from? Did you get a bachelor’s degree? For a position higher than manager in the Angle Group, you have to have at least a postgraduate degree. Are you that qualified?”
Sylvia responded, “I haven’t been to college. I was too idle when I was 14 years old. I got a master’s degree from Manchester College by academic assertation. I don’t know if Manchester College is a diploma mill.”
She spoke casually, as if she were just describing a simple and ordinary thing.
However, Lucy looked at her in shock and disbelief.
She thought, “A 14–year–old girl got a master’s degree from Manchester College. Is she really human?
“If Manchester College is considered a diploma mill, then my alma mater is nothing.”
Looking gloomy, Lucy forced herself to maintain her momentum and said in a sarcastic tone, “So what if you have a master’s degree from Manchester College? In our industry, work experience is the most important thing. Miss Lancelot, it’s hard to say if you can keep this position.”
After that, she went out, swaying her hips.
“Stop right there.”
“Miss Lancelot, what else can I do for you?”
Sylvia looked at her aloofly, raised her eyebrows, and said with a smile, “It’s none of your business whether I can keep this position or not. This pile of documents is mixed with the old materials from several departments in the past five years. Please look through them one by one and sort them out properly for me, Ms. Gordan.”

to Edgar.
“Our people found out from the Angle Group that Miss Lancelot was suddenly transferred to the company yesterday. It seems that she holds a high position there. Today is her first day of official work.”
Edgar had never looked so gloomy.
He thought, “A quick divorce and a quick job after that? Is Patric her sugar daddy?
“Is this what she meant when she said she had a clear conscience?
“How could she say that she didn’t cheat on me before divorcing me?”
