I froze and felt pale. “Why?” I asked, trying my best to act casual.

“Dude, you’re Connor Whitlock–the new heartthrob of Hollywood in a hit series. And it’s not because of Amanda. That brainless Barbie doll is a sad exce for an actress,” he scoffed.

“Thanks for the drink,” I said dryly, before dumping it in the trash and walking back into my trailer, slamming the door behind me.
