Chapter 30
Athena’s POV
Once everyone was settled in, did Ares and Eros move to lead down towards the Alpha’s office as the goal was for me to meet their parents as well as get Maya and I into the pack in which only the Alpha could do as Ares and Eros were not Alpha’s yet.
“Are you ready for this love?” asks Eros, as we all slowly approach the office door. “Yes,” I say to him, my heart racing at the thought of actually being a part of a pack as I had not been a part of one since I was 9 years old and that was when my parents still had their pack.
“Nervous?” asks Ares, who all but notices my beating heart. “A little” I admit, glancing over in his direction. “It’s okay to be nervous, trust me. But you aren’t alone, you have us as well as Maya who is also joining our pack” replies Ares, a smile gracing his beautiful face which eases my racing heart remembering Maya.
“Thanks, I needed that” I say just as Eros knocks on the door. “Yes? Enter” calls the voice of the Alpha, giving us permission to enter his domain. “Who dares disturb-” starts the Alpha only to pause. “Ares? Eros? Why are you both home? Shouldn’t you be at the ball?” was all that was heard
when he saw who was standing at his door.
“We were, Father, allow us to introduce to you Athena, our mate. The one given to us by the Moon Goddess herself” replies Eros as he gently leads me into the room, Maya close behind us as Kai, Seth, Sam and the others move to follow us.
“Well I’ll be” smiles the Alpha as he moves to hug me. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, my child. Come have a seat. I am Alpha Alarick Moonheart. Alpha of the Mystic Shadow Pack and Ares and
Eros’s father.”
“Pleasure, I am Athena, Athena Moonblood” I tell him with a smile, as I move to sit, Ares and Eros next to me as we all gathered into the room.
“And who might you be my dear?” asks Alarick once he notices Maya. “I am Maya, sir. Maya Shadowtail” replies Maya with a bow showing her respect to the new Alpha.
“Well Maya, it’s very nice to meet you. Please tell me, what brings the both of you here?” questions Alarick as he looks to his sons and those within the room.
“Dad, we were hoping that maybe you could do the initiation for New Pack Members” asks Ares as he looks to his father hopefully.
“Sure, I can do it son” remarks Alarick as he moves to stand in front of his desk. “We can do it

right here and now if they wish.”
“Yes, Yes Please” I whisper, moving to stand in front of him as Maya does when gestured to do so. “Alright, have the both of you already rejected your bonds to your last pack?” asks Alarick, as he moves to look at the both of us.
“Dad… Athena doesn’t have a link to her pack, they never gave her one. As for Maya, she has yet to break her bond” admits Eros, glancing at his mate as Alarick moves to look at me in question before shaking his head. “That’s okay, Maya, if you could please go ahead and reject your pack, then once completed we can go ahead accept you into ours.”
“Okay” whispers Maya as she takes a breath before speaking. “1, Maya Shadowtail, hereby
renounce my allegiance to the Moon Walker Pack, cutting all ties from them” and then, just like that Maya’s bond was broken, freeing her from her old pack.
“Now then, Do you, Maya Shadowtail, hereby wish to join our pack, The Mystic Shadow Pack, while promising to protect it, nurture it, as well as respect it and all its members. To swear loyalty to its Alpha as well as its Luna?” asks Alarick as he cuts a line into his palm.
“Yes, I hereby swear it” whispers Maya, just loud enough for everyone to hear as Alarick moves to do the same to her hand, cutting a thin line into her palm before joining them together, sealing the bond between Alpha and pack member in full.
Once Maya was complete, Alarick turned and did the same with Athena, her connection now. flowing through everyone’s bond. Smiling, I moved to hug my mates, my bond completed making
me feel whole once more.
“Welcome home Love,” whispers Ares as he moves to nuzzle me, causing me to giggle as his father continues to watch me, as if recognition hits. “Um dad, is everything okay?” asks Eros who had
noticed the way his father was acting just now.
“Yes, Sorry, it’s just… Athena dear, if I may… Are you the daughter of Alpha Ryder and Luna Selene? It’s just, you look so very much like your mother” questions Alarick to Athena, unaware of the others inside the room as he asked his question.
“Y–Yes… I am. My name is Athena Moonblood, daughter to Alpha Ryder and Luna Selene Moonblood. Last living heir to Moon Valley” answers Athena, her eyes moving to look at those around her afraid of what they might think of her.
“I thought so, please do not be afraid my child, you are safe here with us. Just know that when you are ready we’ll listen to your story” answers Alarick with a smile hoping it would help ease the girl in front of him.

“Thank you” I whisper, not quite ready to share my story with anyone yet. “But of course. Now then, if this is everything please, go and explore what our pack has to offer you and I shall see you all at dinner tonight” smiles Alarick.
Nodding, we all move to leave the office. “Eros and I will take Athena to explore if you all would like to take Maya and show her around” replies Ares with a smile, his voice leaving no room for debates. Chuckling, Kai simply rolls his eyes. “Of course, Alpha” then with nothing else, Kai moves to gesture to the others, leaving only me and my mates.
“Now then, I do believe someone owes us an explanation in regards to their behavior with the pack’s whore” smirks Eros, softly as so no one could hear us making me blush.
“Ah well… You see… it was all Artemis” I stuttered, unsure how I was going to get out this one. “Artemis? I think it was all you love” teases Ares as both he and Eros move to approach me slowly, smirks adorning their cute faces.
Pailing, I quickly made a dash for the stairs, deciding on heading back towards our room, knowing that if I didn’t they would very much carry me all the way back. “Better hurry love, or else we’ll catch you” laughs Ares as he and Eros give chase, a game of cat and mouse in full swing with only one being the victor, the cat if said cat caught it’s prey as I knew this little game would turn into. more than just that and I welcomed it.
Shivering
ng at the thought, I suddenly feel heat rushing towards my core, the thought of mating with my mates as I reach the top floor comes to mind just as I squeal, Ares catching me before throwing me over his shoulder as he did.
“Gotcha love” smirks Ares as we slowly make our way towards the Master Suite. “Now the real fun can begin” chuckles Eros as he moves to open the door to our room, the room we would all be living in as Ares and Eros had all their things brought into it after they had left for the ball.
“Wait! I can explain,” I laughed as I thoroughly enjoyed our little game. After all, I did want more and knew the only way to get more was to take it and boy did I want it, especially after this morning’s shower when they both kissed and touched me, my body wanting more even–then.
“We’re all ears love” purrs Ares, just as he moves to place me on the bed.
“Well.. you’re mine, so only I can have you” I say, stating the obvious.
“But of course, just as you are ours, love” purrs Eros with a smile. “Shall we show it to you?”
“Yes” I whisper, just as the both of them move to join me on the bed. The anticipation, growing for my mates.
