Chapter 67
Athena POV
While sitting in my room, I continue to watch in complete and total silence. Maya working her magic like always as she steadily does my hair. Pinning my hair in an elegant updo with tiny little star pins to help hold it all in place, my gown all but on me.
“You look so beautiful Athena” whispers Maya, as she moves to help me step into my dress. Once inside the dress, Maya moves to zip me up, careful not to smug any of my makeup as Maya had gone with an emerald eyeshadow, adding tiny elements to my final look to help incorporate the twins.
“There… all done, are you ready? Luna?” smiles Maya, now standing in front of me. Nodding, too scared to trust in my own voice, I move to take one final look in the mirror.
My dress is the same royal blue like the one I had tried on the day before as we went over last minute alterations as my eyes slowly moved to the necklace that sat around my neck. Tiny sapphires and emeralds lay nice and neatly along my skin while sitting nice and neatly where tiny teardrop earrings. My makeup is light and airy with the exception of the eyes, Maya adding layers of green and blue to make them pop, my lips a nice shade of red.
‘Beautiful‘ whispers Artemis.
‘You really think so?‘ I ask her back.
‘I know so. The twins will love it‘ purrs Artemis.
Smiling at her words, I move to slip on my silver strappy heels before slowly making my way outside to where our guests were currently waiting along with my sexy twins.
-Outside-
When approaching the outside of the packhouse, the first thing my eyes see is the big huge stage. The one that Ares, Eros, along with myself and my chosen would be standing on as we each proclaimed our vows to become the next Alpha, Luna, Beta, Gamma and Delta of the Mystic Shadow Pack.
Thousands of people including our pack all here to see us become the new leaders.
‘I’m so nervous Artemis… what if I make a complete fool of myself‘ I say to her, my hands gently shaking as I now stand just outside the packhouse entrance.

Chapter 67
‘Easy… Relax, nice and slow. Slow even breaths‘ whispers Artemis as she tries to help me get use to the ideal of people watching us up on stage.
‘Do–Do we really have to do it in front of all these people though?‘ I ask nervously.
‘Yes‘ says another voice, causing me to turn only to see it was my Uncle, Uncle Alex, the Lycan King.
“Uncle Alex, you came” I say, before swiftly moving to hug him. “Wait, how did you know what I was thinking?”
Chuckling, he moves to speak up. “The family bond. Since we’ve been reunited, our family bond has now strengthened between us including Rick. With that we are now able to talk to one another freely” admits Alex with a smile.
Smiling back in return, I can’t help but find it cool. My eyes now search over the vast sea of people. “There’s so many people here though, what if I falter?” I ask, moving to look at him once more, my nerves still with me.
“You won’t because we’ll be with you every step of the way” remarks another voice, drawing my attention to my now sexy mates, Ares and Eros.
“You… You mean that?” I ask, my eyes never leaving theirs as I move to search for the truth behind their words.
‘Of course we mean it. You’re our Luna, Our Queen. We’d never let you fall” smiles Eros, moving to extend a hand over towards me in which I take gratefully.
Feeling all my anxiety fade the longer I’m with them, I move to accept his hand as he moves to pull me closer to him and Ares, my body now standing directly between them like a sandwich.
“So long as we’re together, you’ll never be alone, ever” whispers Ares, as he gently cups my cheek making me smile as I lean slowly into his touch, aware of how close we were standing.
Taking a few minutes to ourselves, I continue to try my hardest to ignore what was going on around us until my Uncle clears his throat, drawing our attention back over to him.
“Looks like the Ceremony is about to start. You three best head for the stage now” smiles Alex, before he quickly gives me another hug and quick kiss to the forehead before moving to find his seat or at least find my Uncle Rick who had yet to grace me with his presence.
“Ready?” asks Eros, once it was just the three of us standing.

“Ready” I say with a smile, letting them lead me towards the stage and to where their father, Alpha Alarick was currently standing on, Lucas, Emma and Emily each there as well as they wait for us to arrive.
Keeping my eyes locked on the stage, I slowly let Ares and Eros guide me until we eventually approach it. My heart still racing as we move to walk up the small flight of steps and onto the big wooden platform of the stage, eventually approaching Alarick once we did, the Alpha holding a smile before moving to address those within the audience.
“Good Evening and Welcome one and all and to our lovely guests who could join us here tonight. For today we witness the changing of the tides as my sons, Ares and Eros along with their fabulous mate become the new rulers of the Mystic Shadow Pack” starts Alarick as he gestures to
the twins and I.
When no one moves to speak, Alarick continues. “Ares, Eros, will you please step forward.” Taking a pause, the twins move to look at me with a smile before moving to stand directly in front of
their father who looked to them proudly.
Ares and Eros Moonheart, do you swear by the blessing of our Moon Goddess, to always do what is best to protect not only our family, our loved ones but also our pack?” asks Alarick, his eyes focused on his sons.
“We do” voices Ares, both he and Eros looking forward with determination within their eyes.
‘Do you promise that you shall never break or betray this pack or any of your allies? To keep your responsibilities as Alpha’s while making them yours as you do?”
“Yes” voiced Eros firmly just as his brother had done moments ago.
Smiling, he moves to continue. “Then please repeat after me, I Ares and Eros Moonheart, Alpha’s of the Mystic Shadow Pack, vow to protect this pack as well as its members with all that I am, including my life, to defend and strengthen those who live here? To love and cherish each member as if it were family and to vow to always stay standing beside them until the end?”
Listening to them recite their father’s words, Alarick moves to cut his palms with a claw before doing the same with Ares and Eros before clasping each of their hands together, joining their
blood as one as he moves to shift the title of Alpha to his sons.
Once completed, Alarick moves to nod his head to his boys who only smile in return before moving their focus over to me. “Your turn love” whispers Ares as he moves to watch his mate.
Gulping, I move to slowly approach my mates, still nervous on what I was doing before stopping directly in front of them.

“Ready Love?” asks Eros, his voice soft and full of love.
“Ready” I whisper, my eyes still focused on my mates.
Nodding, they move to proceed. “Athena Moonblood, do you swear by the blessing of our Moon
Goddess, to always do what is needed to protect this pack from the dangers of the world? To protect all those who live here?” asks Ares to Athena.
“I do” I answer bravely.
“Then do you promise to never break or betray the trust of this pack or any of its allies? To hold and to keep all responsibilities of Luna, all while making them yours?” asks Eros with a smile.
“I do” I voice, still firm in
my
decisions.
“Then please, repeat after us. I, Athena Moonblood, Luna of the Mystic Shadow Pack, vow to honor and protect this pack and next, as well as its members so long as I live? To defend and Strengthen all those who live here? And to love and cherish all those within as if they were your own? Standing beside them until death?” finishes Ares, his eyes still trained on Athena as both he and Eros watch, waiting for her to answer as do those sitting amongst the crowd.
