“Then I’ll have my third brother marry you as a thank–you!” The boy said, smiling brightly. His little voice continued, counting on his fingers. “My third brother may not talk much, but he’s handsome, and he makes a lot of money. He can make you look good out there. A lot of girls want to marry him!”
Amelia couldn’t help but laugh. “I’m not planning to get married for now.”
“Oh…” The boy’s face immediately drooped in disappointment. His ears flopped down, and he walked along with a sad, dejected look.
When they arrived at the hotel entrance, he suddenly perked up again, lifting his little face. “Sis, how about you meet with my third brother first? After meeting him, you can decide!”

Amelia smiled gently. “You’re really pushing your brother. Does he know?”
“He’s always sick.” The boy said seriously, his little face

Amelia looked at his dry, pale lips and bought a bottle of mineral water and a pack of crackers for him. “Don’t talk too much, you’re still recovering.”
The boy obediently took whatever she gave him. He couldn’t open the bottle of water by himself, so he raised it up weakly, his voice soft. “Can you open it for me?”

Jerry didn’t reveal his identity. He hurried over and said, “Master Jenkins! We’ve finally found you! Thank goodness you’re okay.”
“It was she who saved me.” The boy grabbed Amelia’s hand, his face showing a rebellious streak, as though this was his true self.
Jerry gave a polite bow, his tone courteous but distant. “Thank you, Miss Cromwell.”
