As for what he looked like, Amelia didn’t see, but as a doctor, she was very sensitive to the scents of medicinal herbs.
The moment the car window rolled down, she immediately smelled a faint herbal fragrance…
Having studied ” Encyclopedia of Herbal Medicine”
extensively, Amelia knew that people who had been ill for a long time were likely to be light–sensitive.
Jerry urged, “Master Jenkins, would you like to go see boss first?”
The boy, distracted, turned to Amelia. “Wait for me here, don’t run off. I’ll be back soon.”
Amelia nodded.
The boy hurriedly ran towards the car.
Left behind, Jerry handed over a card. “Thank you, Miss Cromwell, for saving our young master. This is a token of appreciation. Please, accept it.”
“You knew my surname? That means you must be acquainted with me.” Amelia smiled mischievously, her eyes narrowing slightly. “You don’t seem to want to thank me; rather, you seem eager to distance yourself from me.”
Jerry paused for a moment. “Miss Cromwell, you misunderstood me.”

“It’s fine.” Amelia turned her gaze towards the boy. “Tell him later, I’m gonna go.”
With that, she stood up with a smooth motion, straightening her long legs from the steps without any intention of looking back.
Jerry sighed with relief. He had been worried that this “fake young lady” from the Milton family would stick to their young
master.
In the golden glow of the setting sun, Amelia carried her black handbag, her dark hair neatly tied up with a wooden hairpin. The evening light enveloped her, casting a halo around her, and her figure as she left looked both stylish and beautiful.
Inside the Maybach, the man glanced over, just catching sight of this scene. His hand rested on the boy’s head, and his voice carried a faint smile. “Is that the one who saved you?”
“Huh? Where?” The boy straightened up, then suddenly became anxious. “Hey, why did she leave? Jerry!”
Jerry walked over and bent down. “Young master?”
“I didn’t even get her contact details. She promised to wait for me,” the boy’s face darkened, and a chilling aura surrounded him. “Did you chase her away?”
Jerry stiffened. “Sir, I…”
In the entire city of New York, no one dared to provoke this little monster.
Despite being only four years old, he was clever, resourceful, and adept at hiding his emotions. His temperament was cold,

Only when their boss was around did Master Jenkins behave obediently.
At other times, even their subordinates feared him.
He had never seen the boy behave this way, especially towards someone like Miss Cromwell. But remembering his duty, Jerry bowed his head and explained, “Young Master, this lady has a bad reputation. I was worried she might have other intentions by getting close to you, so…”
“She doesn’t even know me. What could her intentions be?” The boy’s coldness deepened. “It was you who didn’t watch over me, leaving me fainting on the street. I just had a heat stroke. If it wasn’t for her, I’d either be kidnapped or dead. You…”
“Liam Jenkins.” The man in the backseat interrupted the boy’s words. He sat upright, his black suit fitting perfectly, with not a crease in sight. His pale wrist adorned with a string of vermilion Buddhist beads exuded a cold, almost seductive aura. “Don’t speak nonsense.”
The boy knew his third brother was angry; otherwise, he wouldn’t have called his full name. He pressed his lips together tightly and buried his face in the man’s chest, mumbling, “Carl, I finally found myself a sister–in–law, and now it’s all gone. She definitely doesn’t like me anymore.”
He had tried so hard to impress her earlier.
The man sighed deeply and gently adjusted the boy’s little face. “You don’t need to worry about my life partner. Understand?”

As he spoke, the man raised his eyes to signal the driver to
start the car.
Gradually, in the rearview mirror, a captivating face appeared. With a straight nose, porcelain–white skin, and delicate lips, it carried an almost sickly, ethereal quality–clear and elegant like jade.
Such a stunning beauty could only belong to the renowned head of the Jenkins family, the CEO of the Jenkins Group- Carl Jenkins…
