Chapter 46
The moment my eyes snapped open, all I saw was darkness. I looked around and saw nothing except blackness. Where could I be? My head thumps with that question as fear grips my soul without letting go, not even a chance to breathe well.
“Damien!” I yelled so loudly, trying to feel him on the bed that we had slept on last night. He couldn’t have been pulling an expensive prank on me.
No, he wouldn’t do that to me.
So where was he?
“Damien!” I shouted again. As I tried to move from my sitting position and look for the lamp on the bedside table so I could light up the room, I felt stuck. It was as if my bun was glued to the bed and my hands were suddenly cuffed to my back.
What the hell is going on with me?
“Damien!” I shouted his name louder this time, I was feeling more scared and I wanted to just get out of this darkness so bad.
“Are you there?” My voice broke as tears stung my eyes, desperately seeking a way out.
“Someone please help me. Is anyone out there? Damien?” I cried.
“Delores!”
“Lenora!” I shouted but no one came to my aid. Everything was dead silent. There was no breeze or wind. There was no movement. No flapping of tree leaves, nothing of any sort that could mimic a sound to at least put me out of my mystery.
I felt stuck and blind. Or could I have gone blind and dead overnight?
Was it possible for such things to happen to someone who was just fine the previous night? I’ve been discharged for about two days now, and I only kept getting better. Healing.
So why was I really feeling this way? And was I also paralyzed?
What exactly was wrong with me and why can’t anyone in the house notice that something has happened?
With each second that passed, the unseen clock in my head was ticking, and fear was enveloping me more and more.
“Somebody help!” I mustered up my strength and screamed so loud. I couldn’t just give up on finding a way out just because everything seemed to be blocked.
However, the next voice that replied sent a shocking wave through my bloodstream that made me freeze in my stuck spot.
“Hi sis, no help is coming for you.” She snickered and the light switch was turned on, causing the once darkened room to be filled up with lights that almost blinded me.
And all of that confirmed that I was not blind, I was not dead and I was once again captured by Eva.
How that had happened, I couldn’t even tell.
And I don’t know what to choose between being blind and dead or being kidnapped by Eva.
The laughter that burst through the door in a hysterical way made chills run down my spine and my heart beat to increase in pace.
“Somebody help me!” This time I screamed over my voice, straining my lungs to the full capacity. Someone just has to hear

“Oh look who we have here.” One of the monsters said as he chuckled in a way that made more tears sting my eyes, knowing the fact that I’ve been restrained to a wooden chair against my will

“She thought she could escape us” Another one said again and the looks in their eyes spoke a lot of the bad intentions they had for me.
“Help me!” I screamed because I knew doom was already at iny doorstep, knocking like a maniac to invade my life.
“You can scream all you fucking want, but no one is going hear you, bratty princess.” The one who seemed like their leader stepped forward, and my body began to tremble as my teeth clattered against each other.
He came closer and gripped my chin hard and it made me wince. He stared down at me as if I was not a wornan but just an bbject they could do whatever they wanted with. I was just a mere sex object to them.
I tried to look to my side to check for Eva but she wasn’t there. It was as if she only came into the room to kickstart the torment she had locked me up for.
“Look here?” The man growled at me and with the way his grip was tight, I groaned out loud but my pain didn’t even move

And when I opened my eyes again, I woke up in a place I recognized so well. But the cries that broke free from my vocal box and lips hindered me from thinking anymore other than just dwelling in my pain and fears.
I wept so hard that I didn’t know when Damien had woken up and as he was about to touch me, I screamed and ran to crouch in the corner of the room.
“Irene, please calm down. It’s me, Darmien.” He said as he took slow steps towards me. His moves looked calculative and all 1 could see him as was a predator that wanted to devour me. A bad guy that was after taking advantage of me.
His voice sounded like theirs. His face looked like theirs. I could hear him laughing boisterously as if he had finally caught
prey. Cornering me and ready to tear me into pieces.

“Irene, listen to me.” He said as he was just a few steps away from me.
“Stay away from me, you monster!” I screamed from the depths of my lungs
I refuse to let a monster touch me. He is a monster. I have to protect myself. I have to.
