Chapter 79
Lucia did not know what information Seraphina had provided to Evelyn about Thomas, but Evelyn ran away with a joyful expression, holding her phone.
Lucia sat down next to Seraphina and forced a smile. “Sera, what’s Thomas‘ zodiac sign?”
Seraphina found the question a bit strange but still answered, “Capricorn.”
Lucia thought. Hmm, that makes sense? No wonder he is that kind of person
Evelyn ran to the side, excitedly opened Thomas WhatsApp, and sent him a message. This was the private account that Seraphina had just provided. Evelyn sent a request but did not expect Thomas to accept so quickly. She was so excited that she almost cheered out loud
Evelyn: [Hi Tommy, I’m Evelyn. We met at the bar that day. Although there was a bit of unpleasantness, you won’t hold a grudge, right?]
Thomas: [What is your relationship with Lucia?]
Evelyn thought, Why is he asking about Lucia? Oh, it seems they have some history, so it’s not strange for him to ask.

Thomas: [Give me your home address.]
Evelyn was shocked. ‘What does he mean? Is he asking for my home address, maybe to send me a gift? No way!
Evelyn’s heart raced, and she quickly sent her home address.
Thomas: [Thank you.]
Evelyn sighed internally, ‘Wow, he is so polite!‘
Evelyn: [You’re welcome. By the way, are you sending me a gift? Can I get a signed T–shirt from you?]
A few minutes later, Evelyn sent another message: [Tommy, I saw your Twitter. Do you rest so late? Training must be tough, huh?]
[Tommy, are you busy? Am I bothering you?]
[Tommy, have a good night. Let’s chat when you have time]
A few minutes later. Evelyn thought. Perhaps he really is an ice ball that cannot be melted.
At eleven o’clock, they ended the gathering and got into their cars.
When Lucia bid farewell to Seraphina and Clarence, she winked with a mischievous smile. “Wish you two have a wonderful night. But Clarence, although you are strong and young, you should also know how to control yourself.”
Although Clarence rarely mingled in nightlife, he would not leave a party before midnight. Today, he left early, as he just. couldn’t wait to spend the night with Seraphina, whom he had not seen for a few days.
Clarence asked nonchalantly, “Have you got a boyfriend?”

“No.” Lucia shrugged.
Then how do you know so much?”
Lucia glared hatefully at Clarence’s back.
Seraphina and Clarence got into the car, and Clarence still smelled of alcohol.
“Can you drive after drinking so much? Seraphina asked with concern.
“Then you drive. Clarence looked at her.
Seraphina pouted, “You know I can only get my license next week.
“You really got your license within two months!” Clarence smiled. “Not bad.”
Seraphina said proudly, “Every vow I made will be fulfilled.”

Hearing the words “my woman, Seraphina felt an irresistible flutter in her heart.
Seraphina’s eyes sparkled like stars, shining with gentle light, particularly bright and enticing. Clarence’s heart stirred, and he pressed the accelerator. “Shall I take you somewhere?”
Where Seraphina asked. Clarence did not answer but curled his lips. Seraphina felt that Clarence’s smile was a bit mischievous.
Clarence’s car drove out of Chateau Hogg. However, a car was parked in the shadow of a big tree, with Catherine sitting in the driver’s seat, watching Clarence leave with Seraphina. A tear slid down from the corner of her eye.
Today was Clarence’s birthday. Before he boarded, Catherine called him to wish him a happy birthday and invited him to dinner that night. Clarence rejected her without much thought, saying that there would be no party this year.
Catherine thought, ‘But he invited those three siblings out for drinks and even brought Seraphina along. He took her to meet his friends while I was rejected and left alone. Do I have no right to attend his birthday party? Just because I answered one of his calls without permission?
He must be afraid of making Seraphina awkward. Clarry, do you really love her that much? Do you? She’s just a lowly and insignificant Cinderella. How did she make it to win your affection? She does not deserve it. She is nothing!
Catherine gritted her teeth and pressed the accelerator to chase after Clarence’s car.
The road outside the city was clear, and Clarence’s car sped along. When they passed a small side road, Clarence suddenly. turned and drove up the mountain.
Seraphina, leaning against the seat and listening to soft music, straightened her back. This isn’t the way back to the downtown.
“Right, this is the way up the mountain, Clarence said.
“What are we going up the mountain for?” Seraphina asked, puzzled.
Clarence teased, “You’ll find out soon.”
Seraphina thought, Could it be that he didn’t enjoy the night view at the winery enough and wanted to see it from the top of
the mountain?

A few minutes later, they reached the mountaintop, and Clarence hit the brakes. The surroundings were quiet, with only the gentle spill of moonlight.
“You can’t be serious about coming here to enjoy the view, right Seraphina looked at Clarence in confusion.
Clarence chuckled softly, his eyes deep and filled with an alluring light. He unfastened his seatbelt and leaned towards Seraphina, gently pressing his lips against hers, murmuring, “Didn’t I say that alcohol would make the night more enjoyable?
Seraphina was shocked. “Are you serious?
Not far away, Catherine, hidden in the shadows of her car, watched Clarence’s car sway. Tears streamed down her face as she tightly gripped the steering wheel, her veins bulging.
Seraphina and Clarence returned to the villa an hour and a half later.
In the garage. Clarence unbuckled his seatbelt and prepared to get out of the car.
When Seraphina went to grab her bag from the back seat, she noticed the gift that Clarence had casually placed there. She reminded him. “Aren’t you taking this gift with you?”
Clarence seemed to remember the gift for the first time. He opened the back door and took the gift, his expression. indifferent as if it were unimportant.
Seraphina did not ask further as Clarence took her hand and walked toward the elevator.
The elevator opened on the second floor, and Clarence kissed Seraphina goodbye, saying, “T’ll take a shower first. Remember to bring up the gift you prepared.”
“Okay,” Seraphina replied as she prepared to exit the elevator, but Clarence pulled her back, his smile a bit wicked. “How did it feel just now?”
Seraphina’s face flushed, and she forcibly pulled her hand away, saying, “No more asking!” After that, she ran out of the elevator.
