The next day, at the Starfield Film Base in the suburbs, the opening ceremony was set to take place.
At 9:08 AM, which was considered an auspicious time, Seraphina arrived at 8:30.
She parked her luxury car, and some early arrivals passed by. The sight of her expensive vehicle caught the attention of several staff members, and their looks at Seraphina held a hint of meaning
They thought, ‘As a newcomer, she isn’t a big star, so driving such a lavish car to the set suggests she comes from a wealthy background.
Several people nodded and smiled at Seraphina, appearing quite friendly.

The opening ceremony was held in the central square. Since it was Seraphina’s first time at the film base and she wasn’t familiar with the layout, she asked one of the girls, Excuse me, how do I get to the central square?”
The girl, carrying several costumes, pointed to the side. The central square is over there.”
Seraphina looked around but didn’t see the square, only some constructed street scenes.

Seraphina glanced at the costumes in her arms. “That’s too much trouble for you. You have work to do.
“It’s fine. They’re still on break and not in a hurry to change, the girl said enthusiastically.

“Let’s go.” The girl led Seraphina toward the central square.
“Which film are you shooting?” the girl asked again.
“Mr. Gissing’s.”
“Mr. Kemp Gissing
“Yes. Seraphina nodded.
The girl’s eyes sparkled. “Newcomers in Mr. Gissing’s films usually become huge stars. He loves to promote new talent. You’re really lucky to be in a film by Mr. Gissing”
Seraphina smiled lightly but didn’t say much more.

“Such a beautiful name.” Cora paused for a moment. You don’t have an assistant yet, right?”
Seraphina shook her head gently. She hadn’t entered the entertainment industry, so she didn’t need an assistant.
Cora offered, “Ms. Johnson, can I be your assistant! I’ve been doing this for three years and am quite familiar with it
Seraphina smiled lightly, “Let’s talk about it another time.”
“Sure.” Cora didn’t push further. “I’ll come by the set to find you, and we can discuss more.”

Cora waved goodbye and prepared to leave.

Just then, a girl in a maid costume walked up to her and asked. “Excuse me, where’s the restroom?” She looked like she was new to the film city.
Cora replied indifferently, “I don’t know.” With that, she left with a blank expression.
After walking a short distance, Seraphina turned around to watch Cora leave, a subtle smile forming on her lips.
She had thought that Cora was genuinely helpful, but it turned out Cora was just looking for a way to benefit herself.
Seraphina thought, ‘Seeing me drive a luxury car sparked Cora’s desire to curry favor. Upon hearing that I am working with Kemp, she wanted to get close and become my assistant. If I were nobody, like that girl, would she have put aside her work to help me?
It was said that the entertainment industry was all about climbing up and stepping on others, and Seraphina was beginning to feel that reality.
In the square, a large red banner was hung, announcing the opening ceremony of the film Shadow Envoy, with auspicious words written on it. Many staff members and actors were already present
