Chapter 13 Beat You To A Pulp

  • When Jaziel exited the bar, he saw Billy and others heading toward an MPV.
  • He had brought along eight subordinates in total. Among them was the brawny man who had blocked Jaziel’s path during the day. Apparently, his name was David.
  • At that moment, they had already opened the car door and were about to get in.
  • Just then, Jaziel suddenly let out a shout, “Hold on!”
  • Immediately, Billy and the others turned around, their gaze landing on Jaziel, who was standing at the entrance of the bar.
  • “You?” Billy couldn’t help but squint his eyes while a jolt of surprise struck his heart at the same time.
  • He had assumed that Jaziel had set a trap for him, but after waiting for more than ten seconds, he saw no one behind Jaziel. Only then did he let his guard down. With a stern expression, he said, “Kid, you’ve got guts, daring to meet me all by yourself.”
  • After Billy finished speaking, he casually leaned against the car door, lighting up a cigar.
  • The burly men behind slowly dispersed, gradually encircling Jaziel.
  • “Billy, didn’t you want to see me during the day? Now that I’m here, shouldn’t we have a proper conversation?” Jaziel carried an air of calm composure.
  • Seeing Jaziel in this state, Billy felt a slight apprehension in his heart.
  • After all, Jaziel was someone who dared to kill, not exactly a good-natured person.
  • However, Billy had a knack for dealing with tough challenges. The number of desperate outlaws he had dealt with was countless.
  • With a cold laugh, Billy said, “Damian is still lying in the hospital, and there’s the one who died. I know you must have some connections, but anyone who messes with my people will pay the price. If you don’t die, I won’t be able to justify it to my subordinates.”
  • Jaziel shrugged and responded, “If you’re so keen on killing me, go ahead. Here I am, standing right before you. Just be warned that I’m tough to get rid of. You might not be able to take me down.”
  • Billy exhaled a ring of smoke, laughing heartily as he said, “Tough to get rid of? I’d like to see just how tough you really are.”
  • “David, you’re up.” Billy exhaled a ring of smoke into the night sky.
  • In his eyes, Jaziel was as good as dead.
  • The burly man named David clenched his fists, bearing down on Jaziel with a menacing grin. “Kid, weren’t you pretty cocky during the day? Now, even if you kneel down and beg me, I won’t spare your life.”
  • “Is that so?” With a light smile, Jaziel said, “I’m not as ruthless as you. At most, I would incapacitate you, but I’d still leave you with a life.”
  • Boom!
  • The moment his words fell silent, the burly man’s body instantly curled up like a shrimp. As if he was a cannonball shot out, he violently flew backward, crashing into the side of the road.
  • Immediately, everyone around was struck dumbfounded.
  • Jaziel’s actions were incredibly swift, so swift that they didn’t have the chance to react at all. By the time they heard the sound, David had already been hurled away.
  • A flicker of shock flashed in Billy’s eyes, quickly replaced by a gaze filled with murderous intent. He commanded loudly, “Attack together! Take him down.”
  • Those people reacted, charging directly toward Jaziel.
  • Thud!
  • At that moment, another dull sound echoed.
  • A burly man was sent flying over two meters off the ground with a single kick from Jaziel. The burly man then crashed heavily back onto the ground.
  • Just like a tiger among a flock of sheep, Jaziel was unstoppable. With each punch he threw, a person fell. In the blink of an eye, seven or eight people were sprawled on the ground.
  • One of the men’s arms was gruesomely twisted by Jaziel, sending a chilling scream that would give others goosebumps.
  • Billy was already terrified. He turned around and dove straight into the MPV, shouting, “Drive! Now!”
  • In the next moment, the MPV, spewing black smoke, shot off directly.
  • Jaziel was about to give chase.
  • At that moment, a frail voice rang out from behind him. Kayla pleaded, “Jaziel, please don’t leave me behind.”
  • This made Jaziel’s body jolt suddenly. Only then did he remember that he was still accompanied by a girl.
  • At that moment, Kayla moved to Jaziel’s side and said, “This man is Billy. I know him, and he’s not someone to be trifled with. However, since you’ve saved me, I can return the favor. Once I get home, I’ll have my father step in to sort things out for you. How does that sound?”
  • Involuntarily, Jaziel found himself taking another look at Kayla, who stood before him. Knowing Billy’s status and still daring to speak like that, her family background must be complicated.
  • “You don’t need to guess anymore,” Kayla said. “It doesn’t matter who I am. What’s important is that we’re friends now. We should be helping each other.”
  • “No need. I can handle Billy myself.” Jaziel gave a smile.
  • At this moment, the car had long since vanished without a trace.
  • However, he wasn’t in a rush. He pulled out his phone and dialed Sean’s number.
  • “Do you have a way to find out where Billy is right now?” Jaziel asked.
  • “Of course, Mr. Jaziel. Since you asked me to keep an eye on him, I had my men install a tracker in his car. We should be able to locate him shortly.”
  • After speaking, Sean gave a few instructions to the person next to him.
  • Barely a minute had passed when the voice from the phone rang out once again.
  • “Mr. Jaziel, the tracking indicates that Billy is currently heading toward the outskirts. As far as I know, Billy has an estate on the outskirts, which also serves as his main base. He has a bunch of desperados under his wing, all living on that estate. He must have gone there. Do you want me to bring some men over to help?” Sean asked.
  • Jaziel declined directly, saying, “No need. I can handle it myself.”
  • After hanging up the phone, Jaziel turned to Kayla and said, “You still have to accompany me to the suburbs. Of course. I could also give you some money to stay at a hotel.”
  • “I don’t have my ID card or my phone with me, so I can’t check into a hotel. I guess I’ll just stick with you,” Kayla said.
