After that, she noticed an envelope placed on the coffee table.

She returned the appointment letter back into the envelope, her emotions a whirlwind of unease.
Kayla then entered the bedroom and lay down on the bed.
Half an hour later, she turned over.
An hour later, she turned over again.
Two hours later, she did the same thing.
She couldn’t sleep, her mind consumed by the day’s events. Everything about Jaziel illuminated her heart, growing brighter with each passing thought. It wasn’t until the break of dawn that she finally succumbed to a hazy sleep.
However, she was awakened less than an hour into her sleep by a persistent noise.
Rubbing her sleepy eyes, she followed the sound.
In the basement gym, Jaziel was seen practicing his punches. His movements were extremely slow, much like the morning exercise practiced by elderly ladies in the park.
However, when his foot hit the ground, it seemed as if the entire building would shudder for a moment.
The action, though seemingly delicate, was imbued with a terrifying strength.
At that moment, Jaziel had just finished a set of boxing moves. He took a deep breath, positioning his hands near his lower abdomen as if holding an invisible force. He exhaled sharply, as swift as an arrow being released, causing a whistling sound to echo through the air.
Kayla was already dumbfounded.
After finishing his practice, Jaziel turned around and asked, “Oh! You’re awake. Where do you live? I’ll
