Yonas took a breath, “Did you tell Grandpa?” He still remembered seeing his grandfather’s missed call before he passed out, but his phone was dead.
Chuck nodded repeatedly, “I’ve told everyone. I told Nathan that you only had some minor injuries, so he shouldn’t worry.”
“Yasmine went home? When did she leave?” Yonas asked, his expression a mix of emotions.
Chuck’s face twitched slightly, “Ms. Sanchez watched Over you for a long time and left just an hour ago.”

At noon, Yonas groggily opened his eyes and saw Yasmine. He looked at her with surprise, “Yasmine, you’re here.”

Having Yasmine by Yonas’s side was unexpected. Before returning home, he never considered Yasmine a threat, thinking she was just someone to accompany Yonas in her absence. Irene knew that to fulfill William’s wishes, she must get rid of Yasmine. Once Yasmine was out of the picture, Yonas would naturally return to her.
She calmed herself as William came in. “Facing problems by just making a fuss, have you completely forgotten how I taught you before? Have you failed?” William said with a grave expression.
Irene nodded somewhat uncomfortably. It was hard for her to seize an opportunity.
“Is that girl so hard to handle? Even these methods couldn’t stop her?” William said with admiration in his voice. He didn’t forget to reassure Irene, “Don’t worry, take your time. You have a whole month to win over Yonas’s heart, I’m confident in you.” Irene was groomed by him since childhood, with her top–notch poise and manner that far outshone someone like Yasmine.

In the special care ward, because of Yonas’s leg issues and the various injuries large and small on his leg, the doctor advised to stay in the hospital for a while for observation. Yonas agreed, and it was for Yasmine’s sake. During his hospital stay, Yasmine would visit him and bring soup, and those were his happiest moments.
In the afternoon, Yasmine arrived, pushing a wheelchair. “Hop on,” she said. Yonas’s leg couldn’t take him anywhere, but lying in bed all day was too suffocating, so she thought of taking him out for a spin.
