Yoselin obediently nodded, “Okay, Yasmine. But how are you going to manage going to work?”
Yasmine shook her head, “I’m suspended.”
Yoselin widened her eyes in disbelief, “Suspended? Why?”
“Since it’s connected to me, and Teresa did write those things in the counseling room, the media is pressing hard, eyes everywhere. Even Mr. Leach has to put on a show first,” Yasmine said calmly, as if discussing what’s for dinner.
“Yasmine, I trust you. If you need any help, just let me know,” Yoselin said, worried about Yasmine. She wasn’t the only one concerned, Yonas was too. He wanted to check on Yasmine, but he knew his appearance would only complicate things further.
Yasmine had packed up her things and was ready to head home. She specifically told Yoselin, “Don’t come with me. Once I leave, I’ll definitely be surrounded.”
Yoselin nodded worriedly, “Okay.” She understood that Yasmine was looking out for her and she didn’t want to cause any trouble either.
As soon as Yasmine appeared, everyone crowded around her. Meanwhile, Yoselin walked out of the school gates with her makeup on. Immediately, she was surrounded by media and reporters.
“Ms, Sanchez, is it true you’ve been suspended?”
“Could you tell us more about what’s going on?”
“Ms. Sanchez, did you force Ms. Russell to clear your name, or was it her own decision? Please answer my question.”
Looking down at one of them, Yasmine said, “I’ve been suspended, but I won’t confess to something I didn’t do.” With that, she left with a stern expression.
At 1 AM, Yonas was still in his office, not having left yet. His assistant placed some documents in front of him and spoke up, Mr. Russell, regarding the rooftop where Teresa supposedly jumped, the police have done a thorough investigation. They found her footprints at the scene, along with another set of footprints. There were also slight signs of a struggle, but for some reason, these findings were completely suppressed. Even the final inspection report, which was submitted, didn’t mention these two pieces of evidence at all.”
Yonas carefully flipped through the files. What he held were the details of Teresa’s case along with the scene investigation report. This version he had was the first edition, more comprehensive than the one that was actually filed. Even the police had said the same…
“Are you saying Teresa might not have committed suicide, but was actually murdered?” Yonas’s eyebrows knitted together in
concern.
The assistant nodded, “Even the officers who first arrived at the scene concluded it was homicide, yet for some reason, the findings were immediately suppressed.”
“I understand,” Yonas said, his expression becoming grave. Who on earth killed Teresa? This initial forensic report wasn’t only available to him; Morgan should have it too.
As expected, Morgan had already gotten hold of the report. He directly passed it to Yasmine to review. Yasmine’s gaze turned cold, “So this means Teresa was murdered, someone pushed her off.” But what’s puzzling is that the suicide note wasn’t fake; it was confirmed to be in Teresa’s handwriting.
“Is it possible that she wrote this will earlier and then regretted it” Morgan asked.

Suddenly, a brief memory formed in Yasmine’s mind. Late at night, the girl couldn’t sleep; she was struggling with thoughts about what Ms. Sanchez had said a few days ago. Midnight is usually a time for melancholy, and during such an atmosphere, the girl suddenly fell into deep sorrow.
She couldn’t wrap her head around Schrödinger’s cat or why anyone would care about the world after death if they wanted to die. The girl suddenly grabbed a piece of paper and began writing a will. But just as she was about to finish, someone knocked on her door and took her away.

The next afternoon, Yoselin found herself at the famous stage of The Starlight Stage in Soucrity. When she got the message, she was puzzled. She picked a random spot to sit. That afternoon, she was still at Irene’s company and hadn’t gone anywhere when she received a text from Nathan, who asked her to meet here.
She wondered, <But why hasn’t Grandpa come yet, considering the show is about to start?>
The music rang out as Juliet took the stage. The room fell silent, and everyone held their breath. Juliet began to sing.
Brielle’s portrayal of Juliet was the best, and even the wine of The Starlight Stage carried a fragrance. Suddenly, a few gunshots shattered her thoughts, causing chaos among the guests on the first floor. Tables and chairs were overturned in disarray. Brielle continued singing on stage while the backstage music hadn’t stopped.
The clear and melodious opera notes drowned out the other noises, but footsteps came closer to Yoselin She had just put down her cup when the door to the box was slammed open. Then someone barged in abruptly, slamming the door shut and lunged toward her.
She was so scared that she gasped, unable to make a sound before a hand covered her mouth. Yoselin’s mind went blank as her eyes widened, and all she could see in front of her were a pair of upturned eyes. “Let me go… mph…” she struggled, her hands constantly hitting his shoulders.
“Don’t move.” The man’s voice was low and his eyes flashed with a cold glimmer. Suddenly, she felt a chill on her forehead, and a hand was placed on her body.
She looked at the man’s refined face in horror, his eyes reflecting the coldest chill.
