Tanner immediately informed Maisie about the dangers, but she feigned ignorance. Then, she told me about it.
I watched as she acted in front of me. Smirking, I too pretended to be fearful. In a trembling voice, I said, “Is that so? Maisie, could you walk with me after school?”
“No problem!” A devious smile played on her lips.
At the same time, I texted my bodyguard, “Now.”
Soon, it was time to leave school, but I didn’t show up as expected. Instead, I left earlier and was all settled down at home. I was munching on sliced watermelons and having fun on my computer as I waited for the updates.
As expected, Maisie was absent the next day. After class, Leanne came up to me. “Hey, guys, did you hear the rumors about Maisie? She was sullied by a hooligan!” “Huh? That’s impossible. Security around the school is very tight.”

Maisie must have been expecting me in that alley. She must have walked into the dingy area without fear, thinking that the hooligans worked for her, and Tanner was walking by her side as well.
