Utterly pissed off, Lincoln stepped forward, about to slap Shannen. A police officer next to them stopped him right away. saying sternly. “What do you think you’re doing? This is the police station.”
Dudley patted Lincoln’s back while glaring at Shannon. “Shannon, this is over the line. You just wanted to see Dad get pissed off, right? From now on, if anyone picks on you, don’t expect us to help you.”
Shannon let out a low laugh. “Hogy ridiculous. Who needs your help anyway? Dudley, I guess I didn’t hit you hard enough”
Dudley pulled a long face. “Shannon, enough is enough. You think you’re something because you stole Miriam’s fiancé? You think now you’re untouchable? You’ll know how wrong you are.
“Oh, but I won’t. Instead, you’ll be sorry and regret what you have done to me. I’ll be happy forever; after all, Randall loves me and dotes on me so much.” she said with a smile. Then she turned to Lincoln, saying, “Right, Mr. Lane?”
“You’ve got no shame!” Lincoln fumed. He couldn’t get physical or win over her in the argument, so he had no choice but to grab Dudley’s sleeve to leave, his face sullen.
The police stopped him, saying, “Shannon is your daughter, too, right? Sign this and take her away with you.”
Shannon immediately said, “No need. I severed ties with them a long time ago. We’re no longer related.”
Lincoln cursed at the same time, “Such a shameless, ungrateful brat isn’t my daughter.”

He was in an understated haute couture suit with cufflinks that cost millions of dollars. His legs, wrapped in sharp suit pants, were slender and strong.
He gently tugged at his tie with his refined hand and said, his voice carrying a hint of impatience, “If you dare to drive a wedge between me and my wife again, I’ll make sure you pay the price.”

“Disgrace?” Randall sneered, “Seems Shannon didn’t hit you hare enough. If she wants, I’ll even let my bodyguards be her punching bags.
