Chapter 19
After signing, Randall brought Shannon back to the Rowe familys estate, which stood halfway up the hill with a straight
When the car arrived at the gate, the large iron gate slowly opened on both sides, and a young man carrying a bunch of golden tulips stepped out slowly,
He was sunny and handsome, exuding a warm sensation, leaving a favorable impression on anyone who saw him. At the sight of the car, he beamed, “Hey, Randall,”
Randall’s expression softened when he saw Aidan Rowe, the son of his eldest brother. Aidan was sixteen, practically a fan of
his.
As Aidan handed out a big bouquet, Randall frowned slightly. “What’s this for? It’s so feminine…”
Aidan said to Shannon, cutting him off, “Shannon, it’s so nice to see you. I picked these flowers from the garden. See? They re in full bloom.”
His eyes were sparkling as he spoke to Shannon in a cheerful tone, not sparing Randall a glance, “I watched your video today. From today on, you’ll be my idol. You’re so cool. Can you teach me how to ride a motorcycle?”
Randall aside was at a loss for words.
Smiling. Shannon took the bouquet over, warmed by Aidan’s smile. “Sure. I’ll teach you when I’m free. It’s very easy. Trust me. You’ll master the skills in no time.”
“R–Really?” Even Aidan’s eyelashes trembled, and his breathing became heavy. “Thanks, Shannon. I’m going to share the news with my friends right now. They’ll envy me so much!”
He ran away like a gust of wind as fast as when he ran toward them minutes ago.
Randall couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous. He looked at Shannon with the tulips, put his arms around her without saying anything, and pinned her against the car so hard that the tulips were squeezed out of shape.
Seeing that, she quickly leaned backward a bit. “Don’t come so close to me. See? You’re squeezing the flowers”
Snorting, he said, “You like them that much?”
She didn’t say anything immediately. Instead, she looked up at him for a few seconds. “Do you smell that in the air!”
He met her gaze. “What do yo mean?”
you
She smiled playfully, Jealousy.” Then she wrapped her arms around his neck lazily, blinking charmingly while continuing softly, “But I love it.”
As he looked at the bright smile on her face, though he remained deadpan, deep down, a strange feeling was gradually washing over him.
Early the next morning, Celeste called Shannon, smiling teasingly on the phone, “How did it go last night?”
Still drowsy, Shannon asked instinctively, “What?”
Celeste kept giggling. “You know, as a couple. Come on, it’s your wedding night.”
Shannon was speechless for a second.

Celeste wanted to know–how, Shannon got back yesterday and giggled mischievously after knowing it was Randall who picked her up; then Shannon hung up the phone directly. No longer sleepy, she got up, washed up, and went downstairs for
breakfast.
After eating, Randall went to work while she sat on the sofa, killing time. Just then, an unexpected guest showed up.
Upon seeing Camilla, Shannon knew what she wanted; but she still gave the doorman permission to let Camilla through
anyway.
Camilla looked a bit haggard. Seeing Shannon, she frowned right away. “Your clothes are so sloppy. You’re now Mrs. Rowe, paying no attention to your appearance will embarrass him.”
Shannon rolled her eyes. “Randall doesn’t feel embarrassed. Don’t sweat about it.”
Rendered speechless, Camilla stopped talking for a few seconds Then, she reprimanded, I’m your mom. Show me some respect,”
Shannon’s face showed a mocking smile as she arched an eyebrow lazily. “Give me a break. What part of ‘cut ties with you you don’t understand?”
Camilla froze. She thought Shannon wasn’t serious about severing their relationship, but it turned out she was wrong.
Still sitting on the sofa, Shannon looked a little slouched. Somehow, Camilla found her a bit intimidating as if she was looking down from the top.
“Say it. What are you here for? Be concise. I don’t have time for meaningless conversations like this, Shannon spoke.”
A bit annoyed, Camilla said sternly, “I know you’re upset, but were family. You shouldn’t have disrespected Lincoln yesterday. He’s sick because of you.”
Nodding slowly, Shannon’said, “Then go see a doctor. Why did you come to me? I’ll only piss him off again and make his condition worse.”
