Chapter 20: The Price of Reject Me
Chapter 20: The Price of Reject Me
(Olivia’s POV)
I stood outside Ambrose Oasis‘ pack office, my hands trembling as I gripped the door handle.
I remembered the last time I sparred with Ambrose, but I needed that money for my mother’s moonstone bracelet.
The office reeked of stale coffee and Ambrose’s overwhelming alpha scent. He looked up from his desk with barely concealed irritation.
“What do you want, Olivia?” His voice carried the dismissive tone I’d grown to hate.
“I need twelve million dollars,” I said, forcing my voice to remain steady.” I don’t want the rest of Mom’s shares, you give me cash.”
Ambrose’s face turned sour, “Are you kidding me, I’ve already given you half the shares and you want cash?”
“This is all my mother’s legacy, and if you hadn’t taken my grandfather’s business, do you think your pack would have held up as long as it has? I’m asking for the power I was born with. “I said firmly.
His eyes flashed with anger. “Your birthright? Everything you have came from my generosity. Don’t forget your place.”
I felt his alpha power pressing against me, trying to force submission. My own power exploded outward in response, pushing back against his dominance.
Ambrose’s face darkened with surprise and rage. “How dare you-”
“I have something to offer,” I interrupted, my voice cutting through his fury. “Bella’s heart is failing and cannot
support her blood production. If you pay, I’ll consider being on call if she needs a transfusion in the future.”
To my shock, Ambrose’s expression didn’t soften. Instead, he leaned back in his chair with cruel amusement.
“Bella can find other donors,” he said coldly. “I’m not paying twelve million for your convenience.”
The realization hit me like a physical blow. Ambrose didn’t love Bella as much as I’d thought. She was just
another pawn in his games.
“I wondered what the pack council would think of an alpha who abused his daughter,” I said, pulling out my phone. “More than that, I wanted to know how stepmother Gloria would react to hearing our conversation.”
Ambrose’s face went white, then red with fury. His inexperience with real confrontation showed as his power
lashed out uncontrolled.
The force slammed me against the wall. My head cracked against the concrete, stars exploding across my
vision.
His hand struck my cheek with a sharp c***k that echoed through the office. Pain bloomed across my face
as I struggled to stay upright.
Before I could fight back, Ambrose snatched my phone from my hands. His eyes scanned the screen frantically, searching for evidence of recording.

“There’s nothing here,” he snarled, realizing I’d been bluffing. “You lying little-”
I adjusted my strength and lunged forward, grabbing my phone back from his grip. Ambrose’s face twisted with rage.
“You’re as annoying as your mother,” he spat, his voice dripping with venom. “Always thinking you deserve more than you’re worth.”
I backed toward the door, my cheek throbbing where he’d struck me. “The Moon Goddess will make sure you get what’s coming to you, Ambrose Oasis.”
As I reached for the doorknob, the door opened from the outside. A woman in heavy makeup and pungent perfume swept right past me and into the office.
Her body was hot, her tight dress wrapped around her voluptuous body as she stared intimately at Ambrose. This must be his latest mistress.
“Ambrose, darling,” she purred, completely ignoring my presence. “I hope I’m not interrupting anything important.”
My opportunity had arrived. As I thought this, I thoughtfully closed the office door for them.
Twenty minutes later, I sat in my car outside the pack building, my hands shaking as I dialed Lily’s number.
“Olivia? What happened? You sound-”
“I need you to investigate someone,” I interrupted, my voice tight with controlled anger. “A she–wolf who just entered my father’s office. I need to know who this wolf is and what she’s doing with my father.”
“On it,” Lily said without hesitation. “Give me an hour.”
That evening, my phone buzzed with Lily’s call. I answered immediately.
“They’re at the Moonlight Hotel,” Lily reported, disgust clear in her voice. “Alpha Suite 868. They’ve been there
for hours, and they’re definitely not discussing pack business.”
Perfect. I knew exactly what to do with this information.
I dialed Gloria’s number, forcing concern into my voice. “Gloria? I’m worried about Ambrose. He missed our dinner appointment, and I can’t reach him.”
“He’s probably working late again,” Gloria replied, but I could hear the suspicion creeping into her tone.
“I thought so too, but someone mentioned seeing him at the Moonlight Hotel earlier,” I said casually. “Alpha Suite 868, I think they said.”
The silence on the other end stretched for several heartbeats. When Gloria spoke again, her voice was deadly.
quiet.
“The Moonlight Hotel?”
“I’m sure it’s nothing,” I said with a dismissive laugh. “You know how pack business can be.”
Gloria’s growl rumbled through the phone. “I’ll take care of this personally.”
The phone line went dead. I smiled helplessly and touched my cheek, Ambrose had used his full alpha power this time, leaving my face still a little bruised to this day.
“Lily? Meet me at the Moonlight Hotel. Front lobby. We’re going to watch the show.”

Thirty minutes later, Lily and I huddled behind a decorative pillar in the hotel’s opulent lobby. When Lily saw my face, her eyes blazed with fury.
“Your vile father is worse than an Omega in heat!” she exclaimed, her voice barely controlled. “Look what he did to your face!”
“It’s okay,” I responded calmly, though my wolf was mentally cheering. “He’s about to get his comeuppance. He deserves it.”
The hotel’s revolving door spun violently as Gloria Ellis stormed through, her face twisted with rage. Thomas followed close behind, his expression equally murderous.
“They’re still up there,” Lily confirmed, checking her phone. “Suite 868.”
I watched Gloria stab the elevator button repeatedly, her claws already partially extended. The moment the elevator doors closed behind them, I pulled out my phone.
“Hello, Officer,” I said to the Northern Territory Wolf Enforcement Bureau. “I’d like to report an alpha who tried to use his strength and power to r**e an unmarked omega.”
The lie rolled off my tongue easily. Ambrose’s cruelty had driven me to extremes, and I felt no guilt about the vengeance coursing through my veins.
“Officers are en route,” the dispatcher confirmed. “Please remain available for questioning.”
Within minutes, uniformed pack law enforcement officers filled the lobby. Lily and I followed them into the elevator, anticipation building with each floor we climbed.
The sounds reached us before we saw anything. Growls, snarls, and the unmistakable noise of a physical altercation echoed from the direction of the Alpha Suite.
We rounded the corner to find chaos. Gloria had partially transformed, her wolf form emerging as her claws extended toward Ambrose. Her fangs were bared in a feral snarl.
Thomas struggled with the other she–wolf, both of them with fangs bared as they grappled near the suite’s
entrance.
