Chapter 21: One Hundred Million, Can You Offer It?
(Olivia’s POV)
“Stop! Pack Enforcement is here! Stop fighting!”
The authoritative voice cut through the chaos in the hotel hallway. Three officers in dark uniforms pushed through the growing crowd, their badges gleaming under the hallway lights.
Gloria remained partially shifted, her claws extended as she lunged at the unknown she–wolf. Her eyes glowed with primal rage.
“You filthy home–wrecker! How dare you try to steal my mate!” Gloria snarled, her voice distorted by her partial transformation.
The she–wolf cowered behind Ambrose, who stood with his shirt unbuttoned and claw marks across his chest. His face was a mask of fury and embarrassment.
“Control your mate, Ambrose!” the woman shrieked, clutching the bedsheet around her body.
Thomas, my half–brother, bared his fangs at Ambrose. “You’ve disgraced our pack, Father!”
The lead enforcement officer stepped between them, his hand on the silver–lined restraints at his belt. “Everyone needs to stand down immediately!”
I watched from a safe distance, Lily beside me capturing everything on her phone. The satisfaction blooming in my chest felt like justice–cold and sweet.
“This is better than I imagined,” Lily whispered, her eyes gleaming with mischief.
Hotel guests had emerged from their rooms, many with phones recording the spectacle. Ambrose’s gaze found me in the crowd, his eyes narrowing with realization.
“You,” he growled, taking a step in my direction before an officer blocked his path.
“Alpha Oasis, you need to come with us,” the officer stated firmly. “All parties involved in this altercation are being taken to the enforcement station for questioning.”
Gloria’s attention snapped to me, her expression shifting from rage to calculation. “She set this up,” she hissed, pointing a clawed finger in my direction.
The lead officer glanced at me. “Were you involved in this incident, miss?”
I looked at him with pitiful eyes like Bella, “No, officer, don’t listen to my stepmother. I… I just heard my father was here and I was afraid something had happened to him so I came to check.” “Any responsible member of the pack would have done the same, let alone me being his daughter.”
I purposely showed the bruise on my cheek from Ambrose’s earlier attack, and I clawed at it again before coming up for air.
Apparently believing my poor girl’s story, he stopped caring about me and turned to look at Gloria.
“We’ll need statements from everyone,” the officer declared, gesturing to his colleagues to secure the combatants.

They used silver–lined restraints on Gloria, whose partial shift made her the most volatile threat. Ambrose submitted to the restraints with rigid dignity, his jaw clenched so tight I could almost hear his teeth grinding.
As they were escorted toward the elevator, Ambrose’s gaze locked with mine one final time. The hatred in his eyes would have terrified me once, but now I felt nothing but vindication.
“The Moon Goddess has a way of balancing the scales,” I murmured as they disappeared into the elevator. Lily slipped her phone into her pocket, her expression gleeful. “That was magnificent! Your father’s reputation will be in tatters by morning.”
I touched the bruise on my cheek gently. “Some debts can only be paid in public humiliation.”
The next morning, my phone rang while I was reviewing design sketches for a client. Graham’s name flashed on the screen, and I considered ignoring it before reluctantly answering.
“You reported Ambrose to Pack Enforcement, didn’t you?” His voice was tight with accusation.
I leaned back in my chair, completely unconcerned. “Yes, I did.”
“Do you have any idea what you’ve done?” Graham demanded. “The Oasis Pack business will suffer from this scandal!”
“The pack’s success or failure is irrelevant to me,” I replied coldly. “I won’t receive any financial benefit either
way.”
Graham made a frustrated sound. “This affects all of us in the Northern Territory. Ambrose’s standing-” “Ambrose had promised to give me my mother’s entire share of the company,” I interrupted.” But he only gave
half.”
“You can’t just-”
“I can and I did,” I stated firmly. “Actions have consequences, Graham. Even for Alphas.”
There was a moment of silence before Graham spoke again, his voice incredulous. “How can you be so vicious, Livvy?”
The question made me laugh, a short, bitter sound. “I learned it from you.”
The silence that followed felt heavy with unspoken accusations.
“What happened after they were taken to the enforcement station?” I asked, changing the subject.
Graham sighed. “The woman–Vanessa Moore–claimed she’d never met Ambrose before. Said he used his Alpha dominance to force her submission.”
That was unexpected. “Really?”
“Yes. Now he’s facing potential charges of power abuse among packs,” Graham explained. “It’s a mess, Livvy.”
I felt no sympathy whatsoever. “How unfortunate for him.”
“You need money, don’t you?” Graham’s tone shifted to something almost gentle. “That’s why you went to Ambrose. I can help you.”
“No,” I replied immediately.
“How much do you need?” he pressed. “I know things have been difficult-”

“One hundred million dollars, can you offer it?” I asked bluntly.
The shocked silence on the other end was answer enough.
“What do you need that kind of money for?” Graham finally managed.
“That’s none of your concern,” I replied. “Goodbye, Graham.”
I ended the call with a decisive click, turning my attention back to my designs. The moonstone bracelet would be mine, with or without help from my so–called family.
Evening had fallen when my phone rang again. This time it was Diane Brooks, my maternal aunt.
“Olivia, I need to tell you something,” she began, her voice concerned. “Graham called your grandmother
today.”
My grip tightened on the phone. “What?”
“He asked Eleanor about your financial troubles,” Diane explained. “She had no idea what he was talking about and became extremely worried.”
Heat rushed to my face as anger surged through me. “What did she say?”
“She offered her life savings to help you,” Diane said softly. “I managed to calm her down, told her I’d already provided you with the funds you needed.”
My wolf stirred beneath my skin, rage simmering dangerously close to the surface. “I’ll call her right away.” “I’ve handled it,” Diane assured me. “But I thought you should know what Graham did.”
After thanking my aunt and ending the call, I immediately dialed Graham’s number. He answered on the
second ring.
“Livvy, I was just-”
“How dare you contact my grandmother?” I snarled, my voice low and dangerous.
“I was worried about you,” Graham replied, his tone placating. “I thought Eleanor might know what was going
on.”
“You have no right to contact my family,” I snapped. “No right whatsoever.”
“I care about Eleanor’s well–being,” he insisted. “She’s always been kind to me.”
“And you repaid that kindness by upsetting her with tales of my supposed financial ruin,” I retorted. “Stay away from my family, Graham.”
I could hear him breathing on the other end of the line, hesitating before he spoke again. “About the mate bond severance…”
“Our appointment at the Northern Territory Registration Office is next week,” I reminded him. “If you fail to appear, I’ll file a formal complaint with the Pack Council.”
“I can’t give you one hundred million for whatever you’re planning, Graham said, his voice revealing uncertainty. “It’s an impossible amount.”
“I didn’t ask you for it,” I replied coldly. “I merely answered your question.”
“Is this about the Moonstone Healing Bracelet?” he asked suddenly. “The one that belonged to your mother?”

My silence confirmed his suspicion.
“Livvy, be reasonable,” Graham continued. “That bracelet isn’t worth-”
“It’s worth everything to me,” I interrupted. “And I will get it back, with or without your help.”
Graham sighed heavily. “I can’t provide the one hundred million you need for the Moonstone Healing Bracelet.”
