Elvira and Cole were stopped because they did not have an invitation. Elvira took out her phone and planned to call Charles personally.
“Excuse me, please don’t stand in the way of the other VIPS. You can’t enter without an invitation,” the security guard said dutifully. He looked at Elvira and Cole with vigilance, as if the two of them would suddenly barge in.
