Max wanted Alice to know the price of offending her.

The drink was all over Alice’s face. She calmly wiped her face.
“Alice, listen to David and apologize.”

David offered Alice a drink.“Make a toast and apologize. Be nice.”
Alice glanced at it and took the drink.
David smiled wildly.“That’s better. Now apologize to Ms. Garcia.”

Alice took the drink and poured it over Max’s head.
Seeing this, everyone in the private room froze.
Max was domineering, but Alice had just attacked her.
Max screamed, “You bitch! You’re dead!”

Meanwhile, someone opened the door next to her.

Alice clung to Jack, rubbing her cheek against his neck.
Jack held her hand.“What happened? I told you not to drink outside.”

Tears welled in Alice’s eyes. She looked wronged.
Jack instantly calmed down and softened his tone. He said patiently, “I’m worried about you!”
“Chloe set me up. She sprayed something on me, making me weak and dizzy.”
Hearing Alice’s words, Jack confirmed his suspicions.
He took off his jacket to wrap her in, holding her close as they left the room.
Andrew stepped on the two bodyguards and said coldly, “They’re lying about who they work for.”
Jack, radiating cold fury, looked like a killer.
