Alice looked at Luke “How long was 1 unconscious?”
“A day. You were in a car accident yesterday.”
“Every one of the Welch family should have seen the video by now!”
Alice needed to get the video evidence back from Noah.

Chloe hung up. She smiled. She thought, “Even if Alice realized what happened, it was too late.

Turning around, Chloe saw Noah awake.

Chloe realized she couldn’t sway Noah with pity.
She saw someone outside the ward and whispered, “I destroyed it.”
Noah slapped Chloe.“Who gave you the right to do that?!”
“Noah, I didn’t hurt Alice! Why won’t you believe me?”
Chloe started crying.
Ethan entered the ward, seeing Chloe with her face covered.“Noah, why did you hit Chloe?”
“Ethan, you don’t know what she did! Alice almost got hurt at the bar. Chloe and Max teamed up. She drugged Alice!”

“Chloe took the USB drive after I fainted.”

Chloe replied, “Noah, Alice said she had the video and went to the police. The Garcia family would be most eget to prevent this from being exposed, not me!
“I was at the bar, but I did nothing. I have a clear conscience!”
Chloe knew about the car accident and the stolen laptop.
Alice had no evidence.
Chloe was relaxed.
Ethan nodded. “Chloe is right. The Garcia family probably did something.”
Noah’s expression was serious. “There’s more evidence. The café had surveillance cameras. They show Chloe kneeling and begging for forgiveness!”
