Chloe nodded, her voice tinged with surprise. “What’s up? Why are you suddenly asking about this?
She pondered whether Garrett was also attracted to Alice.
After all, Garrett had initially taken a fancy to Alice, but Chloe had deliberately swooped in and taken him away.
Chloe’s only hope now was to marry into the Yates family and have a son. She couldn’t allow Alice to take wonderful opportunity.
Chloe spoke with a hint of jealousy, “Are you attracted to Alice?”
“I must have been blind to find that violent lunatic attractive. But what’s the full name of that school docto? He is actually a Wilson!”
Now Andrew was stepping in to help. Garrett wondered if that doctor was connected to the Wilson family.
Andrew was very close to the heir of the Wilson family.

Chloe said, “I don’t know his full name, but I can have a classmate check it out.”
Max snorted, “Garrett, I know what you’re thinking, but that’s impossible.”
“I’m just checking. It seems odd”
“Alice is a country bumpkin. She can’t possibly be connected to the Wilson family in any way. The name is most likely merely a coincidence.”
Chloe finally understood what Garrett meant. She nodded in agreement. That’s right. If that school doctor really was from the wealthy Wilson family, he wouldn’t be working as a lowly school doctor at a high school. I’ve heard that his pay is extremely low. He doesn’t even own a house. And he’s living off Alice’s credit card”
“Probably I’m overthinking it,” Garrett said, thinking that Chloe’s words made sense.
After all, Wilson was a common last name in Washington.
Soon, Garrett would regret his decision so much.
At that moment, Max took out her phone to watch a show. “My idol’s latest drama. He’s so handsome.”
Chloe caught a glimpse and felt a bit excited. “My brother’s latest show is finally released.”
“You say he’s your brother?”
Chloe nodded eagerly.“Yeah, he’s my fourth brother, Caleb Welch. We’ve been close since we were kids. He even said he’d help me get into the entertainment industry in the future.”
Max’s attitude towards Chloe improved significantly.“Could you invite Caleb to join us for dinner sometime? I’m a big fan.”
Caleb was exactly her type.
Chloe agreed without hesitation, “Yes, no problem. Caleb’s been filming non–stop lately, but now that his new show is released, he should be back soon.”
Chloe’s mood lifted when she saw Max’s joyful expression.
Because of Alice, Max had been giving her the cold shoulder too.
But now that Max was a fan of Caleb, things would be easier.
If Caleb came back and supported her, Chloe wouldn’t have to worry about anything.

Chloe still needed the Welch family’s support if she wanted to marry into the Yates family.
During class, Alice saw a notification in the Maple Company’s work group chat, “We’ll have a meeting at 3 PM.”
Alice glanced at it and replied, “Got it.”
The team leader asked her, “You don’t have class this afternoon, right? Can you make it?”
“Yes, I’m free this afternoon. I’ll be there on time.”
Since she was a member of the company, she would attend the meeting if she could.
Moreover, even after the Welch Group was discredited for the plagiarism incident and was prohibited from bidding, there were likely rumors circulating the company about her and the Welch Group.
After class, Alice said to Lana, “I’m going to the company. Let me know if anything comes up at school.”

Alice nodded.“I’ll come up with a plan to get a sponsorship soon.”
There would undoubtedly be many corporate sponsors at the dinner party she was planning to attend within the gaming community. She had to try to get some sponsorships for the base.
Yesterday at the competition site, she had already announced that the Harvard Team would make it to the finals.
She wondered if any sponsor would have the foresight to recognize their potential and make an investment.
After class, Alice went straight to the Maple Company.
When she walked into the conference room, the technical team was already present.
But at the sight of Alice, they stopped their discussion, and their expressions seemed a bit off.
Alice asked, “What’s going on?”
The team leader looked at her.“Alice, didn’t you hear that someone has been spreading the word in the legal industry, telling them not to take on the case regarding the leakage of the Maple Company’s proposal?”
Alice was taken aback.
The first person that came to mind as the culprit was Ethan. She didn’t remember him being that powerful in the legal community, though.
Alice wondered if Ethan’s fiancée was behind this.
After pondering for a moment, Alice said, “I didn’t know about it until now.”
“Don’t worry about it. We just heard about it. Our boss will definitely fix it.”
Now everyone knew that Alice was the younger sister of the Welch Group’s CEO, but her brother was very biased. Because of this, Alice had left home to make a living on her own since she attended college, which was quite tough.
Alice sat down, but she was in a bad mood.
If no lawyer took on this case, they would lose even if they filed a lawsuit.
“Alice, Mr. Yates has come. Don’t worry. The problem will be solved.”

Alice looked up and saw Andrew walking in front, with Jack following behind.

She glanced at him and replied, “Delete my photo.”
“I already deleted it.”
Alice stared at the man across from her. She didn’t believe that.
Jack set down his phone, looked up, and met her gaze. His eyes were calm, with a hint of a smile on the corner of his mouth.
Alice became even more annoyed. It was clear he hadn’t deleted it.
“Does anyone have anything else to say?” asked Andrew, the boss, after he had finished speaking.
“Mr. Yates, according to what we’ve heard, there is a threat to prevent the attorneys from taking on our case against the Welch Group.”
“Is that so?” Andrew was slightly taken aback, as he had never worried about this issue.
He chuckled, “I’ve already found a lawyer, so don’t worry about it. That’s all for today’s meeting.”
Alice was the last to leave, and Jack spoke up, “Were you just worried about this?”
“Yes, Ethan is up to dirty tricks without scruples. His use of such tactics isn’t surprising.”
Andrew laughed and said, “Alice, don’t worry about it. We’re definitely going to win the lawsuit.”
Jack changed the subject.“Have they decided who will take responsibility for everything?”
They had all heard what Alice said yesterday.
Just as Alice was about to reply, her phone rang.
She glanced at the number on the phone screen and said, “Speak of the devil.”
Alice answered the call and put it on speaker, “Mr. Welch, you’re calling personally. You must have decided to take full responsibility for everything, right?”
Ethan was left speechless. His unspoken words stuck in his throat.
He thought, “How dare you speak to me like that?”
