Alice’s voice was not steady.“You’re a huge star now. Are you not worried about the scandal?”
“As long as those things don’t get out, I’m untouchable,” he said.
He approached her. “This beating is a lesson. You’ve been causing so much trouble at home while I was away. Don’t you think you’ve done wrong?”
“I haven’t done anything wrong,” Alice retorted.

He felt a knot of dread tighten in his chest.
“What are you smiling about? Not satisfied yet?” He frowned.
Chloe, breathless and disheveled, rushed up the stairs.“Caleb! The video… She recorded a video.”
Caleb’s face drained of color.
He looked down at Alice, snatched the hidden camera from her collar, and crushed it under his heel.
His voice was laced with chilling rage.“You dared to set me up! Alice, you’re asking for it!”
Alice shoved him away.“You’re finished, not me.”
“The video is gone. What are you going to blackmail me with?”
He calmly crushed the camera, looking for the memory card.
Chloe burst into tears.”Caleb, she was live–streaming! Many people saw it!”
The camera was useless now.
“Live–streaming?!”
Caleb’s face turned ashen. How was that even possible?
