Alice’s voice dripped with sarcasm. It surprised Alice that Chloe took action so quickly.

After a moment of thought, Alice said, “It seems Ethan already gave up on you. He kicked you out of the game and let Chloe replace you because you became a burden to the company. You will get punished by law even if I don’t do a livestream.”
That was Ethan.

Alice interrupted Caleb with her comment.

Alice heard sadness and regret in Caleb’s sobs.
After a chuckle, she said, “Why don’t you save your tears for your talk with Ethan? He may be softened by them. You and he are a family anyway.”
Then, she hung up the phone.
She didn’t feel peace in mind.
There came no news of Chloe’s father though the TR Company had started the investigation as Alice wanted.
How could a living man leave no traces at all?
Alice had hacked into Chloe’s phone, so Chloe, alerted, must have destroyed all the evidence.
Without the photo accidentally taken by the TR team, Alice would think that she had a delusion.
Now, she didn’t doubt herself anymore.
With the resources from Ethan, Chloe led a good life, so her father wouldn’t show up for the time being.
Alice felt that her head was spinning.
Soon, she received a call from Shrimp Live.“Ms. Welch, there are complaints about your channel, so we need to start an investigation. You can get your channel back after the investigation. Don’t worry.”
Obviously, it was the trick of the Parker family.

Alice didn’t want to explain her relationship with the Welch brothers to an outsider, and she didn’t need others‘ approval anymore.
At the thought of Caleb’s speech, Alice decided to give Noah a call, but his phone was off.
The next morning, she went to see Noah in the hospital because there were no classes.

Alice arrived at the hospital and failed to find Noah in the ward.
She made an enquiry, and the nurse said that Noah had transferred.

Alice gazed at Caleb.“On one condition.”
She didn’t trust him at all.
